Dialkylcarbamoylchloride (DACC)‐coated cotton acetate dressing works directly through hydrophobic interaction to reduce the number of bacteria without the risk of resistance. It is easy to use and therefore expected to improve patient's compliance. This study aimed to assess the clinical efficacy of DACC‐coated cotton acetate dressing compared to a combination of normal saline dressing and 2% mupirocin ointment. A single‐blind controlled trial was conducted and included 14 infected epidermolysis bullosa (EB) wounds which were divided into two groups. Group I received DACC‐coated cotton acetate dressing, and Group II received the combination of normal saline dressing and 2% mupirocin ointment. Study results showed that the average time required for complete wound closure was 8.6 and 11.1 days in Groups I and II, respectively (p = .014), which was statistically significant. Both groups showed complete bacterial elimination on Day 3 based on negative Gram stain results and on Day 6 based on clearance of clinical manifestations (p = 1.000). This is a novel study in EB‐infected wounds, which shows that DACC‐coated cotton acetate dressing promotes faster wound closure and is as effective as the combination of normal saline dressing and 2% mupirocin ointment in eliminating bacterial infection.  相似文献

Transposable elements, particularly LTR-retrotransposons, comprise the primary vehicle for genome size expansion in plants, while DNA removal through illegitimate recombination and intrastrand homologous recombination serve as the most important counteracting forces to plant genomic obesity. Despite extensive research, the relative impact of these opposing forces and hence the directionality of genome size change remains unknown. In Gossypium (cotton), the 3-fold genome size variation among diploids is due largely to copy number variation of the gypsy-like retrotransposon Gorge3. Here we combine comparative sequence analysis with a modeling approach to study the directionality of genome size change in Gossypium. We demonstrate that the rate of DNA removal in the smaller genomes is sufficient to reverse genome expansion through Gorge3 proliferation. These data indicate that rates of DNA loss can be highly variable even within a single plant genus, and that the known mechanisms of DNA loss can indeed reverse the march toward genomic obesity.  相似文献

目的 探究了新型脑棉片保存与清点袋在神经外科手术的效果运用。方法 回顾和分析了我院2013年-2015年的神经外科手术60例,按随机数字表法分为实验组(30例),对照组(30例)。实验组选用新型脑棉片保存与清点袋;对照组选用传统折叠式脑棉片保存包装。观察比较两组患者术中台面整理时间及脑棉片清点时间、手术台面污染情况及因清点不清暂停手术次数、估算术中出血量所用时间、脑棉片回收利用情况、护理人员工作满意度调查结果。结果 实验组在术中台面整理时间及脑棉片清点时间、手术台面污染情况及因清点不清暂停手术次数明显少于对照组。两组术中出血量平均估算值差别不大,但估算花费时间实验组少于对照组。在脑棉片回收利用情况中,脑棉片平均散落数、散落脑棉片平均变形数,实验组明显少于对照组,可消毒回收平均脑棉片数实验组大于对照组。实验组护理人员工作满意度明显优于对照组。结论 运用新型脑棉片保存与清点袋于神经外科手术中,可减少术中台面整理时间及脑棉片清点时间,改善手术台面污染情况,降低因清点不清暂停手术次数,便于估算出血量,在一定程度上提升了护理人员工作满意度,值得临床推广运用。  相似文献

目的:观察瘤果黑种草子总黄酮(TFNG)的抗炎及平喘作用。方法:选择昆明种小鼠、SD大鼠及健康豚鼠为实验动物,随机分为生理盐水组、阳性药对照组、TFNG低、高剂量组(小鼠100,400 mg·kg-1,大鼠71.5,286 mg·kg-1)。采用二甲苯致小鼠耳 廓肿胀、大鼠棉球肉芽肿实验观察总黄酮抗炎作用;采用整体动物小鼠喷雾致喘实验、离体豚鼠肺支气管灌流实验及离体回肠实验考察总黄酮的平喘作用。结果:TFNG 100,400 mg·kg-1可明显抑制小鼠二甲苯所致的耳廓肿胀度,TFNG 71.5,286 mg·kg-1可抑制大鼠棉球肉芽肿(P<0.01);TFNG 100,400 mg·kg-1可明显延长小鼠哮喘反应的潜伏期(P<0.01);TFNG 3,6,12 g·L-1可明显增加豚鼠肺灌流量,降低豚鼠回肠平滑肌收缩张力(P<0.01)。结论:瘤果黑种草子总黄酮具有一定的抗炎及平喘作用。  相似文献

This work presents the novel and entirely green in situ synthesis of zinc oxide nanoparticles (ZnO-NP) on cotton fabric. Pomegranate peel extract was used as a reducing agent and wood ash extract was used as an alkali source for the formation of ZnO-NP from zinc acetate. Four different synthesis methods, which varied in drying between immersion of fabric in the active solutions for synthesis and the use of padding and ultrasonication, were investigated to evaluate the most suitable one to achieve excellent ultraviolet (UV) protective properties of the functionalized textile. For comparison, the cotton fabrics were also functionalized with each active solution separately or in a combination of two (i.e., Zn-acetate and plant extract). Scanning electron microscopy (SEM), inductively coupled plasma mass spectroscopy (ICP-MS), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), X-ray diffractometry (XRD) analysis, and atomic force microscopy (AFM) confirm the successful formation of ZnO-NP on cotton. Among the synthesis methods, the method that included continuous drying of the samples between immersion in the active solutions for synthesis (Method 4) was found to be the most suitable to deliver uniformly impregnated cotton fibers with numerous small ZnO wurtzite structured crystals and excellent UV protection, with a UV protection factor of 154.0. This research presents an example of a green circular economy where a bio-waste material can be used to produce ZnO-NP directly on cotton at low temperatures and short treatment times without the addition of chemicals and enables the production of cellulosic fabrics with excellent UV protection.  相似文献

The influence of iron ions at concentrations of 0.2, 0.5, and 1.0 g/L on optical brighteners of the groups stilbene and biphenyl in solution and on cotton fabric was investigated. Both groups of optical brighteners are intended for detergent formulations. The influence of iron ions was studied by absorption and fluorescence spectra in solution and by whiteness degree, identifying color differences using CIEL*a*b* coordinates and Ultraviolet Protection Factor (UPF) of cotton fabrics. The obtained results in solutions and cotton fabrics showed different behavior of optical brighteners stilbene and biphenyl in the presence of iron. Stilbene compounds with metal ions produced new species capable of absorbing in the UV-B region of the spectrum. A biphenyl compound in combination with iron had no effect on the absorption properties. Both optical brighteners were influenced by iron ions in the sense of fluorescence quenching. The influence of iron ions in single- and two-bath treatments of cotton fabrics after one cycle on whiteness degree and UPF was negligible.  相似文献

[目的]观察脑卒中病人采用妇科棉枝进行口腔护理的效果。[方法]选择100例具有口腔护理适应证的脑卒中住院病人,随机分为观察组和对照组,每组50例,对照组采用传统口腔护理方法,观察组采用妇科棉枝进行口腔护理。观察并比较两组病人的口腔护理效果及护士劳累程度。[结果]观察组病人口腔清洁评分明显高于对照组(P&lt;0.05);观察组护士劳累程度明显低于对照组(P&lt;0.05);两组病人口腔护理后口腔黏膜、牙龈出血发生率比较差异无统计学意义(P&gt;0.05)。[结论]脑卒中病人采用妇科棉枝进行口腔护理效果明显。  相似文献

Cotton is grown in about 90 countries and accounts for 24% of the fibers used in the global production of textiles. In 2018/2019, 25.8 Mt of cotton were produced around the world. Since this natural product consists mainly of cellulose, it can be used as a raw material in the so-called “sugar economy”. This paper discusses a model procedure for thermally assisted acidic hydrolysis of cotton into glucose and subsequent oxidation of the glucose into calcium gluconate over Pd-Au/SiO2 catalyst. In the first step, H2SO4 was used as a catalyst for hydrolysis. The cotton hydrolysates were neutralized using CaCO3 and applied as a substrate in the second step, where glucose was oxidized over Pd-Au/SiO2 prepared by ultrasound assisted co-impregnation. With the appropriate Au/Pd molar ratio, small crystallites of palladium and gold were created which were active and selective towards the formation of gluconate ions. This approach to the transformation of glucose represents as a viable alternative to biological processes using fungal and bacterial species, which are sensitive to the presence of inhibitors such as furfurals and levulinic acid in hydrolysates.  相似文献

目的:比较输液敷帖与棉签两种材质按压拔针的效果。方法对98例住院患者同体左右手静脉输液后分别采取输液贴按压法拔针和棉签按压法拔针,观察拔针后止血效果。结果棉签按压法拔针后产生疼痛的发生率为79.6%、皮下瘀斑发生率为5.1%,输液敷贴法分别为35.7%、0,棉签按压法拔针后产生疼痛及皮下瘀斑的发生率显著高于输液敷贴按压法( P<0.05或0.01)。结论输液敷贴按压拔针能有效减少静脉输液拔针后疼痛及皮下瘀斑的发生。  相似文献
