Summary The contribution of the maculo-ocular reflex to gaze stability was studied in 10 pigmented rabbits by rolling the animals at various angles of sagittal inclination of the rotation and/or longitudinal animal axes. At low frequencies (0.005–0.01 Hz) of sinusoidal stimulation the vestibulo-ocular reflex (VOR) was due to macular activation, while at intermediate and high frequencies it was mainly due to ampullar activation. The following results were obtained: 1) maculo-ocular reflex gain decreased as a function of the cosine of the angle between the rotation axis and the earth's horizontal plane. No change in gain was observed when longitudinal animal axis alone was inclined. 2) At 0° of rotation axis and with the animal's longitudinal axis inclination also set at 0°, the maculo-ocular reflex was oriented about 20° forward and upward with respect to the earth's vertical axis. This orientation remained constant with sagittal inclinations of the rotation and/or longitudinal animal axes ranging from approximately 5° upward to 30° downward. When the longitudinal animal axis was inclined beyond these limits, the eye trajectory tended to follow the axis inclination. In the upside down position, the maculo-ocular reflex was anticompensatory, oblique and fixed with respect to orbital coordinates. 3) Ampullo-ocular reflex gain did not change with inclinations of the rotation and/or longitudinal animal axes. The ocular responses were consistently oriented to the stimulus plane. At intermediate frequencies the eye movement trajectory was elliptic because of directional differences between the ampullo- and maculo-ocular reflexes. 4) In the upright position the coactivation of the optokinetic reflex (OKR) eliminated the eye disalignment with respect to the stimulus plane and the elliptic trajectory. 5) Combined vertical OKR and VOR gain in the prone position (VOKR + VVOR 0°) was higher than that of the combined VOKR + VVOR in the 90° nose up position. The VVOR + VOKR 90° gain was in turn higher than the VVOR + VOKR gain in the 180° upside down position. 6) We suggest that, in the dark, the maculo-ocular response tends to reduce the disalignment of both eyes with respect to the horizon rather than inducing oculocompensatory responses. In the light, this maculo-ocular reflex increases the gain of combined optokinetic and vestibular responses.  相似文献

目的通过对CT抗原(cancer-testis antigen)KM-HN-1进行HLA-A*0201限制性表位预测,并对候选表位肽与HLA-A*0201分子结合亲和力及复合物稳定性进行分析,为探索基于KM-HN-1的免疫治疗奠定基础。方法利用基于蛋白酶体剪切位点特异性的算法PAProc及基于肽MHC-I结合的算法BIMAS和SYFPEITHI对KM-HN-1进行HLA-A*0201限制性表位预测.合成KM-HN-1相关候选表位肽KM-HN-I321-329(KLLPFRETV),KM-HN-I303-211,(FLPTAPPNV),KM-HN-I629-637。(TLLQIIETV),KM-HN-I87-95(ILNKSIIEV),KM-HN-I538-596。(QMMEALDQL)及阳性对照肽HBVcAg18-27(FLPSDFFPSV);对这些合成肽与HIA-A*0201分子结合亲和力及其复合物稳定性根据文献报道的方法进行分析。结果KM-HN-I321-329(KLLPERETV)结合亲和力最低,KM-HN—I203-211(FLPTAPPNV)结合亲和力最高,其余3条肽结合亲和力介于2者之间;稳定性实验(DC50)结果显示:KM-HN-I538—546(QMMEALDQL)DC50小于2h,KM—HN-I321-329(KLLPERETV)的DC50介于2~4h之间,KM-HN-I87-95。(ILNKSIIEV)的DC50介于6~8h之间,KM-HN-I233-211(HLPTAPPNV)及KM-HN-I629—633(TLLQIIETV)的DC50均大于8h。结论基于蛋白酶体剪切位点特异性的算法及基于肽MHC-I结合的算法对KM-HN-1进行HLA-A*0201限制性表位预测,结合候选表位肽与HLA-A*0201分子结合的亲和力与复合物稳定性实验分析,为该抗原HLA-A*0201限制性表位的鉴定奠定了基础。  相似文献

The physical stability of virions of Cucumber mosaic virus (CMV) mutants was investigated to determine if relative stability correlated with efficiency of aphid transmission. Virion stability was evaluated by a urea disruption assay and by testing the infectivity of virus following purifications. All viruses were infectious when purified using a low salt buffer without organic solvent, whereas two of seven viruses were less stable and inactivated following purification with a high salt buffer and chloroform. These two viruses were both reassortants derived from the spontaneous transmission-defective mutant CMV-M (F1F2M3 and F1F2M3-L129P). F1F2M3 was relatively unstable, being disrupted between 0 and 1 M urea versus the wild-type CMV-Fny (F1F2M3) that was destabilized at 3-4 M urea. Modifications of F1F2M3 at three amino acid positions (129, 162, 168), singly or in combination, increased the relative stability of virions. A second class of transmission-defective CMVs with engineered mutations in the betaH-betaI surface loop of the CMV-Fny capsid protein (CP) exhibited near wild-type levels of stability. Lastly, a single Pro to Leu substitution at CP position 129 of CMV-Fny (F1F2M3-P129L) conferred the induction of necrosis in tobacco plants and reduced aphid transmissibility, but did not markedly alter the physical stability of virions. Thus, only among CMV-M derivatives harboring the CP mutation of Thr to Ala at position 162 were increases in stability correlated with restoration of transmissibility by the aphid Aphis gossypii.  相似文献

Successful artificial selection of quail (C. coturnix japonica) for divergent early approach preferences for, and imprintabilities to, the wavelength characteristics of otherwise identical visual stimuli decreased the trait's developmental stability. The developmental error that resulted from selecting for extreme initial preferences was associated with enhanced imprintabilities. Conversely, the developmental error that resulted from selecting for extreme imprintabilities was associated with enhanced expression of directional gene effects in extreme initial preferences. The data are attributed to selectively relaxed normative canalization of trait development, and to related enhanced expression of genetic, environmental, and stochastic influences in trait deviations.  相似文献

目的 通过研究流行性乙型脑炎活疫苗减毒株基因稳定性,从分子水平证实流行性乙型脑炎活疫苗的遗传稳定性。方法分析流行性乙型脑炎活疫苗主种子、工作种子及其相应的疫苗病毒E蛋白基因核苷酸和氨基酸序列,并与其强毒株和基因库中乙脑病毒减毒株(AF15119)比较。结果乙脑活疫苗主种子、工作种子及其相应的疫苗病毒的E蛋白基因核苷酸序列完全相同。这些病毒E蛋白的氨基酸序列与基因库中乙脑病毒弱毒株(AF315119)比较显示第E447位点氨基酸有差异。结论乙脑病毒活疫苗减毒株遗传学特性稳定。  相似文献

The chemistry and structure of the dimethacrylate resins and the nature of the filler systems in dental composite resins are reviewed in relation to their influence on the setting behaviour, dimensional stability, aesthetics, fracture behaviour and adhesive potential. It is clear that a deeper understanding of the structure of the polymeric matrix and the mechanism of clinical wear is required. As a result of ongoing research in this area and with the development of dentine adhesives, the future prospects of composite resins are encouraging.  相似文献

A high frequency transformation system has been developed for Penicillium paxilli using pAN7-1. Up to 44% of the primary transformants were heterokaryons. Loss of hygromycin resistance was observed in primary transformants that were sub-cultured on non-selective media, but single spores of these primary transformants were mitotically stable on both selective and non-selective media. A molecular analysis of the transformants generated showed that 78% had single-site integrations, with half of these containing a single copy of pAN7-1. CHEF-gel electrophoresis showed that P. paxilli has at least six chromosomes with a total genome size of about 23.4 Mb.  相似文献

目的 研究EB病毒转化外周血B淋巴细胞建成的永生细胞株在传代过程中遗传特性是否发生改变.方法 对10株永生细胞株进行30代的长期传代培养,采用染色体显带、微卫星DNA及端粒酶活性检测技术,观察不同传代次数的永生细胞株二倍性、染色体核型、微卫星DNA及端粒酶活性的改变.结果 永生细胞株在30代以内,在染色体二倍性、核型、微卫星DNA方面保持稳定,未检测出端粒酶活性.结论 经EB病毒转化的永生细胞株在有限代次内遗传特征是稳定的.  相似文献

The effectiveness of external fixation in the stabilisation of pelvic ring fractures was studied in a laboratory cadaveric series. Shearing displacements occurring at sacroiliac joint and symphysis pubis dislocation sites, due to simplified longitudinal loading of the sacrum in an Instron unit, were monitored using variable-impedence transducers. The rigidity of fixation was compared for the Slätis and the Bonnel single anterior frames, for coupled and uncoupled double anterior frames, and for combined anterior-plus-posterior fixation achieved with separate transfixation pin clusters, with through-and-through pin clusters, or with a posterior screw plate. The data showed that the use of posterior fixation provided greatly enhanced stabilisation compared to that achieved with anterior fixation alone. The complex double anterior frames performed only slightly better than did the simpler single anterior frames. In no case, however, was it possible to recover rigidity levels approaching those of the intact pelvis. The results suggest that the transfixation pin arrangement is the most important determinant of pelvic fixation stability, and that further investigation of posterior screw-plate fixation is warranted.  相似文献

目的探讨前路、后路、前后路联合手术治疗胸腰椎爆裂骨折的特点。方法依据对患者所选择的前路、后路、前后路联合手术术式分为三组,进行影像学评价和神经功能评价。结果各组末次随访脊髓功能评价分级提高情况采用R×C表x2检查方法进行统计学分析,各组差异无显著意义。各组术后cobb氏角改善率应用秩和检验方法进行统计学分析,各组差异无显著意义。结论我们综合应用Denis和McAfee的分型,结合了骨折形态、损伤机制和稳定性评价,对胸腰椎爆裂骨折的治疗有较好的指导意义。手术方式的选择更多基于脊柱机械性稳定性、神经性稳定性评价。综合考虑骨折部位、骨折后时间、患者年龄、工种以及术者对入路的熟悉程度等。  相似文献
