目的探讨不同剂量的月季花提取液对小白鼠离体子宫平滑肌收缩性能的影响。方法采用小白鼠离体子宫实验法,观察不同剂量的月季花提取液对小鼠正常子宫以及缩宫素干预下小鼠离体子宫的收缩幅度、收缩张力、收缩曲线下面积和收缩频率的影响。结果与对照组比较,月季花低剂量组离体子宫收缩频率明显降低(P<0.01),月季花中、高剂量组均能明显降低收缩幅度、收缩张力、收缩面积和收缩频率(P<0.05);与缩宫素组比较,除缩宫素+月季花低剂量组对收缩幅度抑制不明显外,各组均能明显降低收缩幅度、收缩张力、收缩面积和收缩频率(P<0.05),而且随着剂量的增大,收缩性能降低越显著。结论月季花提取液明显抑制小鼠正常离体子宫收缩性能和拮抗缩宫素引起的子宫兴奋效应,具有一定的量效关系。 相似文献

Nursing is becoming increasingly aware of its impact as a global profession. Part of this evolution is the understanding that the Western evidence-based construct may not be reliably or universally applicable to transcultural settings and clients. In a global world, no ‘one size fits all’ and no singular approach to pain management is appropriate; there are, quite literally, infinite variations in cross-cultural dynamics. Nurses working in the field of pain management must be able to navigate their responsibilities within the global health context. The role of the pain management nurse in the global world is to provide individualized and culturally relevant pain management for clients, which is mindful of multifactorial contributors to the pain experience, such as the physiologic, affective, cognitive, behavioral, sociocultural, and environmental, and to view adequate pain management as an international human right. Introduction and Aim: The indiscriminate use and adverse effects of the main conventional antifungal agents compromise the effectiveness of treating vulvovaginal candidiasis (VVC), mainly caused by the species Candida albicans. This study evaluated the effectiveness of photodynamic therapy (PDT) and the in vitro and in vivo anti-candida potential of the hypericin (HYP)-loaded nanostructured lipid carriers (NLC). Materials and Methods: Empty NLC and NLC-HYP were characterized by the dynamic light scattering technique and transmission electron microscopy to evaluate the average particle size distribution and its morphologies. The in vitro inhibition photodynamic effect of the systems was tested to reduce the planktonic viability of C. albicans. The therapeutic assay photodynamic of the systems was performed to treat VVC in mice. Results: Empty NLC and NLC-HYP presented values of average hydrodynamic diameter, polydispersity index, and ζ-potential from 136 to 133 nm, 0.16 to 0.22, and -18 to -30 mV, respectively, on day 30. Microscopically, the systems showed spherical morphologies and nanoscale particles. Furthermore, in the in vitro inhibition assay, the treatment of PDT with NLC-HYP (NLC-HYP+) showed a significant reduction of the C. albicans planktonic viability compared to YNB negative control after 5 min of LED light irradiation. In the in vivo therapeutic assay, the antifungal group (vaginal antifungal cream) and NLC-HYP+ evaluated in the dark and by PDT, respectively, had a significant log10 reduction in fungal burden compared to the infected group on day 8 of the VVC treatment. Background: A standardized rose-hip powder produced from the seeds and husks of fruit from a subtype of Rosa canina has been reported to inhibit leukocyte functions that cause cell injury in osteoarthritis.Objective: The aim of this study was to assess the impact of standardized rose-hip powder on mobility of the hip and knee joints, activities of daily living, quality of life, and pain in patients with osteoarthritis.Methods: Patients with a diagnosis of osteoarthritis of either the hip or knee, verified on radiography, participated in this randomized, placebo-controlled, double-blind study. Half of the patients were given five 0.5-g capsules of standardized rose-hip powder twice daily for 4 months, and the other half received identical placebo capsules twice daily for the same period. Mobility of the hip or knee was measured in both groups after the initial screening and again after 4 months of therapy.Results: One hundred patients (65 women, 35 men; mean [SD] age, 65.2 [11.1] years) were divided into 2 treatment groups of 50 patients each. Hip joint mobility improved significantly in the treatment group compared with the placebo group (P = 0.033). Similarly, pain decreased significantly in the treatment group compared with the placebo group (P = 0.035). Two patients (4%) from each group withdrew during the early stages of the trial for reasons not related to treatment.Conclusions: In this study population, standardized rose-hip powder reduced symptoms of osteoarthritis, as 64.6% of patients reported at least some reduction of pain while receiving treatment. 目的 通过基因鉴定方法检测出可表达视网膜Müller细胞的Sox2-Cre和Rosa26转基因小鼠杂交的后代。方法 采用传统提取DNA、聚合酶链反应(PCR)扩增、电泳及免疫荧光方法检测。结果 PCR方法检测野生型小鼠是长度为324 bp的条带;杂合子小鼠是长度为250 bp和324 bp的双条带,且免疫荧光发现转基因小鼠的自发红色荧光可以和Müller细胞标记物谷氨酰胺合酶(GS)绿色荧光共标。结论 建立了可表达视网膜Müller细胞的转基因小鼠模型,为今后研究视网膜Müller细胞的增殖分化作用及其作用机制提供了动物模型。 相似文献
