应用因特网对SARS病毒M蛋白B细胞抗原表位的预测   总被引:7,自引:1,他引:6  
目的:预测SARS冠状病毒M蛋白的B细胞表位。方法:采用EMBOSS软件结合Hopp&woods亲水性参数、Janin可及性参数、极性参数、柔韧性参数及二级结构方案对SARS冠状病毒M蛋白的B细胞表位进行了预测,并用吴玉章等已建立的B细胞表位预测方法进行评述。结果:SARS冠状病毒M蛋白B细胞识别的表位可能位于第3~13和153~166位氮基酸等区域内或附近,这2个被预测的表位均含有β—转角和无规卷曲结构。结论:该研究对应用合成肽抗原进行SARS早期诊断研究及相关抗体的制备具有重要指导意义。  相似文献

【目的】 总结中国科学院主管主办科技期刊的封面特点,以促进我国科技期刊通过期刊封面增强内容传播与品牌建设。【方法】 对中国科学院主管主办的341种科技期刊封面按期更换比例、期刊封面的演进与美学特点进行调研和分析。【结果】 按期更换封面的科技期刊比例有所提升、演进速度明显加快、美感明显提升,版式表现出学科特点。同时,按期更换封面的期刊比例仍然偏低,封面规范性、美感、网络传播能力仍需加强,相关管理规范也存在滞后性。【结论】 我国科技期刊需要进一步提升封面的规范性与美感,增强在线与多媒体衍生品的创作与传播,管理部门也要与时俱进地改进管理规范,充分发挥期刊封面在学术成果传播中的重要价值。  相似文献

Course materials for a Human Anatomy and Development Course were placed on the World Wide Web (WWW). The materials included a lab manual, lecture notes and slides, faculty-generated atlases, Web links, and examinations. The lab manual, lecture notes, and atlases were also provided as black-and-white hardcopy. The Office of Education assigned students a code name that allowed them to use the Web site and take exams anonymously. Student Web use was tracked and correlated with their performance on the final examination. Overall use patterns revealed that most students used the Web site to prepare for examinations, but not for daily studying. Old examinations were the most accessed documents; lecture notes were the least accessed. The access patterns of the students with top 20, middle 20 (closest to the mean), and bottom 20 scores on the final examination were compared. In general, there was little difference between the middle and top groups. Students in the bottom group used computer resources significantly less than the other groups. In a second analysis, the 10 students who used the Web site most frequently scored below the mean. The study suggests that interactive exercises will be heavily used, but that the preparation of all course materials for the WWW may not be an efficient use of institutional resources.  相似文献

Global exchange of information is one of the major sources of scientific progress in medicine. For management of the rapidly growing body of medical information, computers and their applications have become an indispensable scientific tool. Approximately 36 million computer users are part of a worldwide network called the Internet or “information highway” and have created a new infrastructure to promote rapid and efficient access to medical, and thus also to radiological, information. With the establishment of the World Wide Web (WWW) by a consortium of computer users who used a standardized, nonproprietary syntax termed HyperText Markup Language (HTML) for composing documents, it has become possible to provide interactive multimedia presentations to a wide audience. The extensive use of images in radiology makes education, worldwide consultation (review) and scientific presentation via the Internet a major beneficiary of this technical development. This is possible, since both information (text) as well as medical images can be transported via the Internet. Presently, the Internet offers an extensive database for radiologists. Since many radiologists and physicians have to be considered “Internet novices” and, hence, cannot yet avail themselves of the broad spectrum of the Internet, the aim of this article is to present a general introduction to the WWW/Internet and its applications for radiologists. The American managed care movement has been viewed as a big experiment and is being watched closely by the rest of the world. In the meanwhile, computer-based information technology (IT) is changing the practice of medicine, much more rapidly than managed care. A New World of digitized knowledge and information has been created. Although literature on IT in psychiatry is largely absent in peer-reviewed psychiatric journals, IT is finding its way into all aspects of medicine, particularly psychiatry. Telepsychiatry programs are becoming very popular. At the same time, medical information sites are flourishing and evolving into a new health-care industry. Patient-physician information asymmetry is decreasing as patients are gaining easy access to medical information hitherto only available to professionals. Thus, psychiatry is facing another paradigm shift, at a time when most attention has been focused on managed care. In this new digital world, knowledge and information are no longer the sole property of professionals. Value will migrate from traditional in-person office-based therapy to digital clinical products, from in-person library search and classroom didactic instruction to interactive on-line searches and distance learning. In this time of value migration, psychiatrists have to determine what their 'distinctive competence' is and where best to add value in the health-care delivery value chain. The authors assess the impact of IT on clinical psychiatry and review how clinical practice, education and research in psychiatry are expected to change in this emerging digital world.  相似文献
