The recent growth in online technology has led to a rapid increase in the sharing of health related information globally. Health and social care professionals are now using a wide range of virtual communities of practice (VCoPs) for learning, support, continuing professional education, knowledge management and information sharing. In this article, we report the findings from a review of the literature that explored the use of VCoPs by health and social care professionals to determine their potential for interprofessional education and collaboration. We employed integrated review methods to search and identify relevant VCoP articles. We undertook searches of PubMed and Google Scholar from 2000, which after screening, resulted in the inclusion of 19 articles. A thematic analysis generated the following key issues related to the use of VCoPs: ‘definitions and approaches’, ‘technological infrastructure’, ‘reported benefits’, ‘participation issues’, ‘trust and privacy and ‘technical ability’. Based on the findings from this review, there is some evidence that VCoPs can offer an informal method of professional and interprofessional development for clinicians, and can decrease social and professional isolation. This article assesses the utility of the Index of Problematic Online Experiences (I-POE) in a national sample of adolescents in the United States. The study was based on a cross-sectional national telephone survey of 1560 Internet users, ages 10 through 17. Data were collected between August, 2010 and January, 2011. The I-POE is an 18-item binary response index which can be used to assess problematic internet use across multiple behaviors and activities. Exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis supported a revised index with two factors: a 9-item “excessive use” scale and a 9-item “online social and communication problems” scale among this population. The I-POE showed favorable psychometric properties including adequate internal consistency for the overall scale and for the two subscales. Scores correlate with offline emotional and behavioral difficulties and the I-POE could have value for use as a part of broad mental health assessment procedures in clinical or school settings. 相似文献

目的 探索“互联网+”健康教育模式在乳腺外科的构建及应用效果。方法 选择2019年3月至2020年3月在河北大学附属医院乳腺外科手术治疗的160例乳腺癌(breast cancer,BC)患者作为研究对象,按照入院先后顺序分为对照组和观察组,每组80例。对照组采取传统健康宣教模式,观察组在对照组的传统健康教育模式基础上,重点运用“317护”微信平台开展健康宣教。比较干预后两组患者健康教育内容掌握情况、依从性以及患者满意度指标。结果 干预后,观察组乳腺癌患者健康教育内容掌握情况、依从性、满意度评分均明显高于对照组,差异均有统计学意义(P<0.05)。结论 “互联网+”健康教育模式在乳腺外科的应用效果较传统健康教育方式有显著优势, 值得临床推广应用。 相似文献
