We assessed the feasibility of using organizational network analysis in a local public health organization. The research setting was an urban/suburban county health department with 156 employees. The goal of the research was to study communication and information flow in the department and to assess the technique for public health management. Network data were derived from survey questionnaires. Computational analysis was performed with the Organizational Risk Analyzer. Analysis revealed centralized communication, limited interdependencies, potential knowledge loss through retirement, and possible informational silos. The findings suggested opportunities for more cross program coordination but also suggested the presences of potentially efficient communication paths and potentially beneficial social connectedness. Managers found the findings useful to support decision making. Public health organizations must be effective in an increasingly complex environment. 目的发现和了解死亡病例网络直报工作中存在的问题,为此项工作的不断完善提供对策性研究。方法对2004年以来"死因登记报告信息系统"中平顶山市报告病例卡片出现的错误进行归纳分类,结合对错误卡片的核查结果和审核订正记录资料分析错误发生的原因。结果在含有错误(或瑕疵)的报告卡片中,死因诊断不明的占10%,因既往史资料收集不全导致报告错误的占15%,诊断明确但死亡报告卡填写错误的占75%;ICD-10死因分类知识培训不到位,临床医生不了解死亡证明书填写规则,管理制度不完善,是影响死因报告工作质量的主要原因。结论对临床医生和疾病控制机构死因报告人员分层次进行培训,健全管理制度,完善考评机制,是降低错误率、提高报告质量的关键环节。 相似文献

目的对太原市2005年上半年~2007年上半年的法定传染病网络报告质量进行分析,找出影响报告质量的因素,为提高传染病网络报告质量提供依据。方法通过《中国疾病预防控制信息系统》的子系统《疾病监测信息报告管理系统》获取太原市2005年上半年~2007年上半年各区、县(市)疾控中心(卫生防疫站)及所辖医疗机构(采供血机构、卫生检疫机构)报告的法定传染病报告卡,导出Excel格式,用SPSS软件进行报告审核及时性、报告准确性、报告完整性方面的统计分析。结果太原市法定传染病网络报告质量2007年最好,但有些指标在3年中有所波动。结论太原市的法定传染病报告质量需进一步提高,应加强对相关人员的培训与技术指导并给予支持,只有领导重视,工作人员认真负责,才能使太原市的传染病报告质量不断提高。 相似文献

Background: An important theory of attention suggests that there are three separate networks that execute discrete cognitive functions. The ‘alerting’ network acquires and maintains an alert state, the ‘orienting’ network selects information from sensory input and the ‘conflict’ network resolves conflict that arises between potential responses. This theory holds promise for dissociating discrete patterns of cognitive impairment in disorders where attentional deficits may often be subtle, such as in attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Methods: The Attentional Network Test (ANT), a behavioural assay of the functional integrity of attention networks, was used to examine the performance of 73 children with ADHD and 73 controls. Results: Performance on the ANT clearly differentiated the children with and without ADHD in terms of mean and standard deviation (SD) of reaction time (RT), the number of incorrect responses made and the number of omission errors made. The ADHD group demonstrated deficits in the conflict network in terms of slower RT and a higher number of incorrect responses. The ADHD group showed deficits in the alerting network in terms of the number of omission errors made. There was no demonstration of a deficit in the orienting network in ADHD on this task. Conclusions: The children with ADHD demonstrated deficits in the alerting and conflict attention networks but normal functioning of the orienting network. 相似文献

Neural networks have been widely used as tools for prediction in medicine. We expect to see even more applications of neural networks for medical diagnosis as recently developed neural network rule extraction algorithms make it possible for the decision process of a trained network to be expressed as classification rules. These rules are more comprehensible to a human user than the classification process of the networks which involves complex nonlinear mapping of the input data. This paper reports the results from two neural network rule extraction techniques, NeuroLinear and NeuroRule applied to the diagnosis of hepatobiliary disorders. The dataset consists of nine measurements collected from patients in a Japanese hospital and these measurements have continuous values. NeuroLinear generates piece-wise linear discriminant functions for this dataset. The continuous measurements have previously been discretized by domain experts. NeuroRule is applied to the discretized dataset to generate symbolic classification rules. We compare the rules generated by the two techniques and find that the rules generated by NeuroLinear from the original continuously valued dataset to be slightly more accurate and more concise than the rules generated by NeuroRule from the discretized dataset. 相似文献

南京军区南京总医院局域网实施基于端口的虚拟局域网(VLAN)划分方法,将医院在线使用的861台微机划分为24个网段。在VLAN划分中,加强计划协调,周密部署,科学组织,精心安排,严格施工,加强预试验工作,及时解决技术问题,努力减少对医疗工作的影响,使VLAN划分得以顺利完成。VLAN划分后,微机运行速度明显加快,广播包由实施前高峰时期流量的50%-60%下降至实施后的10%左右。实践证明,VLAN划分对于加强医院信息化基础建设,提高网络安全性能,保证医院局域网平稳运行不失为一项有力措施。 相似文献
