Prioritizing research challenges and funding for allergy and asthma and the need for translational research—The European Strategic Forum on Allergic Diseases

The European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology (EAACI) organized the first European Strategic Forum on Allergic Diseases and Asthma. The main aim was to bring together all relevant stakeholders and decision‐makers in the field of allergy, asthma and clinical Immunology around an open debate on contemporary challenges and potential solutions for the next decade. The Strategic Forum was an upscaling of the EAACI White Paper aiming to integrate the Academy's output with the perspective offered by EAACI's partners. This collaboration is fundamental for adapting and integrating allergy and asthma care into the context of real‐world problems. The Strategic Forum on Allergic Diseases brought together all partners who have the drive and the influence to make positive change: national and international societies, patients’ organizations, regulatory bodies and industry representatives. An open debate with a special focus on drug development and biomedical engineering, big data and information technology and allergic diseases and asthma in the context of environmental health concluded that connecting science with the transformation of care and a joint agreement between all partners on priorities and needs are essential to ensure a better management of allergic diseases and asthma in the advent of precision medicine together with global access to innovative and affordable diagnostics and therapeutics.     

Affective experiences during daily occupations: measurement and results

Occupation is the medium of occupational therapy. It is believed that people maintain a rhythmic balance of life through participation in daily occupation. In this study, the affective experiences of 60 subjects during daily occupations were measured using a diary‐log recording which had acceptable internal consistency and test–retest reliability. It was found that a week's daily occupational affective experiences were stable over two months, with no significant difference between males and females. The content or orchestration of daily occupations might affect the pattern of affective experiences during a week. Happy and unhappy experiences during daily occupations were negatively correlated. 肾癌酵母双杂交文库的构建及其意义

目的　研究肾癌中的信号传导尤其是Wnt/Frizzled信号通路在肾癌发生、发展中的作用 ,寻找具有生物意义的小肽 ,构建肾癌的酵母双杂交文库。　方法　提取肾癌组织的mRNA ,逆转录合成cDNA ,SalI/NotI酶切后基因重组法定向克隆于穿梭质粒pPC86中 ,转化DH5α菌后扩增。　结果　文库大小为 6× 10 6,SalI/NotI酶切鉴定 ,插入cDNA片段多为 1～ 3kb。　结论　肾癌pPC86酵母双杂交文库的构建成功为研究肾癌发生机理、诊断和治疗 ,尤其是信号分子通路治疗提供了有效的工具。

国家科技支撑计划中医药项目组织管理模式探索与创新

为促进中医药事业的发展,“十一五”国家科技支撑计划加大了对中医药领域研究的支持力度。国家中医药管理作为行业主管部门,在支撑计划项目组织管理模式与机制上进行了许多新的探索,成立支撑计划中医药项目办公室和中医药咨询专家组,选定项目协管单位和责任专家,形成分级管理与分类指导相结合的项目组织管理模式。组织专家对各项目课题的实施方案进行优化论证、构建研究过程质量保证与质量控制体系,有效地保证了支撑计划项目的顺利实施,提高了研究水平和质量。     

读《太极图说》对人文医学的意义

浅谈中图法中国医学R2类的编列及设置方法

中图法是我国图书馆最广泛使用的图书分类法,它是以科学分类和知识分类为基础的一个逻辑严密的图书分类等级体系。中国医学R2类的编制指导思想和设置方法体现了中医思想和知识结构体系,符合当前中医科学的发展趋势,但在基础理论、方剂、中药学等类目的设置上仍需要进一步探讨。     

从科学范畴谈中医药科学的发展与创新

任何科学,都具有历史和时代的局限性,都是无止境的,都是需要不断深入和扩展的。在某一个时间段或时间点,科学都是相对的或者说是局限的,是需要不断发展的,是与时俱进的,更多时候是需要互相借鉴和互相促进的。当我们从科学或者现代科学角度审视中医药学时,不难发现,中医药学不但是科学的,而且是具备了现代科学特征的,同时,与其他许多学科一样,中医药科学具有不容回避的历史局限性。新的时代特征和新的实践条件对中医药提出了新的要求。只有以开放创新的固有品格、自省自新的理论勇气和革故鼎新的扬弃精神,直面批评、发展创新、完善自我,才能重现辉煌。谋求中医药理论的重大突破,重建与规范中医药术语体系,正中肯綮。
