“非典”与温疫

“非典”以发热为主症，具强烈传染性和流行性，属中医“温疫”范畴。根据有关文献的记载，阐述了温疫学说的发展源流，从中医辨证论治角度，探讨温疫的辨治规律。湿热疫主以透达、攻下，拟达原饮化裁；暑燥疫主以清热解毒，拟清疽败毒散化裁。推测此次“非典”属湿热疫的可能性较大，依其病情发展可分早、中、极、恢复4期。中医学宝库蕴藏着丰富的防治温疫的有效经验，运用于“非典”，需作新的探讨与实践。

SARS and pestilence

The chief symptom of SARS is fever. It has strong infectivity and belong to pestilence in TCM. The resources of triple of epidemic diseases was proposed based on related documents. The rules of differentiating syndromes of this disease was explored from traditional Chinese medicine. The epidemic diseases of damp_heat type should be treated mainly by expelling the pathogenic factors from the exterior and purgation and Modified Dayuan Yin (Decoction with Direct Effect on Moyuan) can be selected. The epidemic diseases of summer_dryness type should also be treated mainly by clearing heat and toxin and Modified Qingwen Baidu Yin is suitable. SARS happened in China this time is similar to damp_heat type. It can be divided into early stage, middle stage, serious stage and recovery stage. There are plenty of experiences for preventing and treating epidemic febrile diseases in the treasure of Tradition Chinese Medicine. For the treatment of SARS, it need a further exploration and practice.
