| Abstract: | The paper discusses the mechanism of moxibustion in the treatment of heat syndromes.It is argued that moxibustion can induce heat outwards,lead heat downwards,remove phlegm and fire,and nourish qi yin and clear heat.Four examples of mammary abscess,insomnia,mumps and hectic fever by moxibustion are listed. |
