Abstract:Blood stasis runs through the development of tumors. The ischemic and hypoxic state caused by blood stasis is the driving factor of neovascularization, which plays a vital role in the distant metastasis of tumors. Activating blood circulation to dissipate blood stasis is an important rule for Chinese medicine in the treatment of tumor. However, whether traditional Chinese medicine for promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis promotes or inhibits tumor metastasis has long been controversial, which causes great confusion among clinicians and urgently needs to be resolved. Considering the role of abnormal neovascularization caused by blood stasis in tumor hematogenous metastasis, the research group took neovascularization as a point of entry to explore the effect of promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis on tumor metastasis, providing an important reference for clinical practice.
