Principles of pressure transducer function and sources of error in clinical use

The invasive measurement of physiological pressures is a common requirement in anaesthesia and intensive care medicine. From arterial blood pressure to intracranial pressure, these calculated variables give a swift graphical and numerical representation of a patient's current physiological status. This allows us to respond rapidly to conditions outside our preferred parameters and to carefully titrate treatment to target effects. These systems are, however, not infallible. An understanding of the principles of their function will promote appropriate use and an ability to recognize and react to sources of error. This article aims to furnish the reader with this level of understanding in order to inform their academic and clinical practice.     

改革开放以来中医药文化发展的演进与特点探析＊

中医药文化是中医药事业发展的根基和灵魂，社会主义文化建设的重要组成。本文考察改革开放40年以来中医药文化发展的演进过程，从“社会矛盾—政策方针—中医药文化发展”的中观视角，构建了中医药文化发展分析模型，发现中医药文化先后经历了资产化发展（1978年-21世纪初）、情景化发展（21世纪初-中国共产党第十八次全国代表大会（中共十八大）前后）、生态化发展（中共十八大至今）三个阶段，每个阶段中医药文化发展的策略、重点和面临的问题具有明显的不同特点。因此，本文提出以社会矛盾为导向，优化政策引导，构建中医药文化生态体系，从个人、社会和国家发展的不同层面采取多元双向发展路径，推进健康中国发展，提升文化自信，打造文化强国。     

翻转课堂教学法在天然药物化学实验中的应用

目的利用翻转课堂教学法改进传统的天然药物化学实验课教学模式,提高该课程的教学效果。方法从实验教学的课程设计与开发,课前自主学习、课中内化及课后评估和讨论等环节进行了一系列的探讨与改革。结果翻转课堂教学模式为解决学生长期以来在天然药物化学实验课中缺乏主动参与性、探索性等问题提供一剂良方。结论在天然药物化学实验课教学中引入翻转课堂教学模式的初步探索为天然药物化学实验课的改革提供了依据和思路。     

Feasibility of monitoring peripheral blood to detect emerging clones in children with acute lymphoblastic leukemia†

Relapse‐enriched somatic variants drive drug resistance in childhood acute lymphoblastic leukemia. We used digital droplet‐based polymerase chain reaction to establish whether relapse‐enriched mutations in emerging subclones could be detected in peripheral blood samples before frank relapse. Although limitations in sensitivity for some probes hindered detection of certain variants, we successfully detected variants in NT5C2 and PRPS1 at a fractional abundance of 0.005% to 0.3%, 41 to 116 days before relapse. As mutations in both these genes confer resistance to thiopurines, early detection protocols using peripheral blood could be implemented to preemptively alter maintenance therapy to extinguish resistant clones before overt relapse.     

Fas/FasL在各阶段婴幼儿血管瘤中的表达及意义

目的 检测Fas／FasL在各阶段婴幼儿血管瘤组织中的表达，探讨Fas／FasL在婴幼儿血管瘤细胞凋亡中的作用。方法 应用EnVision法免疫组化染色和RT-PCR检测Fas／FasL蛋白及mRNA在各阶段血管瘤组织中的表达。结果 ①增生早期和增生中期，部分血管瘤细胞表达Fas；增生晚期，阳性细胞明显增多，Fas mRNA表达最强；消退早期，仍有少量微血管内皮细胞表达Fas，之后Fas表达迅速减弱。②最早期细胞团中没有FasL（＋）细胞；增生中期，血管瘤组织中出现少量FasL（＋）细胞；增生晚期FasL（＋）细胞显著增多，FasL mRNA表达最强；消退早期之后，FasL（＋）细胞迅速减少以至消失。结论 Fas／FasL与婴幼儿血管瘤演变过程有密切联系，Fas／FasL介导的血管瘤细胞凋亡可能是婴幼儿血管瘤自行消退的重要原因。     

拆方研究补中益气汤中黄芪 甘草及全方的免疫调节作用

目的　检测补中益气汤中黄芪、甘草及全方对病态机体的免疫调节作用。方法　分 7组检测全方中黄芪、甘草及全方缺黄芪、缺甘草组方对利血平制备的脾虚小鼠的 5项非特异性免疫功能的影响进行研究。结果　黄芪能使Hb明显升高 ,单味甘草对某些免疫功能不起作用甚至起抑制作用 ,缺甘草组方作用低于全方 ,全方能明显提高机体免疫功能。结论　黄芪是方中主要升高Hb药物 ;方中甘草起到特殊的调节作用。     

脑肿瘤患者手术前后T细胞亚群及NK细胞活性的变化

目的 探讨脑肿瘤患者手术前后细胞免疫功能的变化及其临床意义。方法 采用单克隆抗体酶标法对22例脑肿瘤和12例脑内血肿患者手术前后不同时期的T细胞亚群及NK细胞活性进行动态监测。结果 脑肿瘤CD3^ 、CD4^ ,CD10^16 56和CD4^ /CD8^ 比值较对照组均有不同程度降低。而胶质瘤组较其余两组明显下降。34例患者术后4期CD3^ ,CD4^ ,CD16 56^ 比值均发生变化。胶质瘤组在术后1至2周明显低于其余两组。术后3至4周才逐渐恢复至正常水平。结论 脑肿瘤患者细胞免疫功能被抑制。且恶性胶质瘤较良性肿瘤更为明显，手术应激能导致T细胞亚群及NK细胞活性变化。脑肿瘤切除术后细胞免疫功能呈现暂时抑制至逐渐恢复的过程。     

A reaction route graph analysis of the electrochemical hydrogen oxidation and evolution reactions

The reaction route (RR) graph approach recently developed by us for complex, non-linear kinetic mechanisms is applied to the hydrogen oxidation and evolution reactions. A corresponding RR graph is constructed and translated into an equivalent electrical circuit network by associating each elementary step with a characteristic resistance for the steady-state case and considering the overall reaction as a power source. It is further shown that the steady-state kinetics of the reaction can be investigated employing the conventional methods of the electrical network theory. Using a set of rate constants for the hydrogen evolution reaction (her) in alkaline solutions from the literature, the dominant RRs are identified and simplified mechanisms and kinetics derived.
