我院门诊西药房药品盘点工作质量探讨

目的 为了更好的提高盘点准确率对过去的盘点结果进行分析.方法 选择我院门诊西药房2010年5月至2011年5月的盘点数据,对盘点总金额的盈亏比例,帐物符合程度进行统计分析.结果 盈亏比例符合要求;帐物符合度从90%提高到94%左右.造成盘点误差的因素主要为基数药品,门诊患者取药的不确定性及退换药等.结论 合理安排人员,科学设计盘点表及进行盘点结果分析可以提高盘点的准确率,进一步的改进措施包括二级库存的建立等.     

What Is Diversion of Supervised Buprenorphine and How Common Is It?

ABSTRACT

This study aimed to identify the practices of community pharmacists regarding the provision of buprenorphine for opioid dependence and explore behaviors pharmacists considered indicative of buprenorphine diversion. A cross-sectional survey of 669 community pharmacists authorized to dispense buprenorphine or methadone was conducted in New South Wales and Victoria, Australia. There was wide variation between pharmacies in the level of supervision provided during supervised buprenorphine dosing and a lack of clarity between pharmacists regarding what behaviors are examples of buprenorphine diversion. Compared to New South Wales, a higher proportion of Victorian pharmacists detected 1 or more episodes of buprenorphine diversion in the past year (65% vs. 28%; p < .001) and in the past month (20% vs. 7%; p < .001). Detection of buprenorphine diversion was associated with the administration of crushed tablets (odds ratio = 2.77), broken tablets (odds ratio = 2.69), and having more buprenorphine clients (odds ratio = 1.24). Future research investigating the prevalence of buprenorphine diversion should include a clear definition of what behaviors constitute diversion.     

Banning Tobacco Sales at the Retail Pharmacy: Natural Evolution of Drug Store As Responsible Health Provider Or Effective Marketing Strategy?

CVS Health has taken a strategic marketing move by banning tobacco sales. They risk losing customers who buy medications and cigarettes at their drugstores. They estimate they will lose 2 billion dollars by banning cigarette sales. CVS Health believes they will benefit from being regarded as health care partner by insurers and banning cigarette sales is an important step in being recognized as such. The Affordable Care Act expanded access to pharmacy-based medical clinics, increased affordability of medications, and expanded the clinical role of pharmacists. CVS Health is positioning itself to take advantage of these changes.     

Academic Performance and Personal Experience of Local,International, and Collaborative Exchange Students Enrolled in an Australian Pharmacy Program

Objective. To assess the academic performance and experiences of local, international, and collaborative exchange students enrolled in a 4-year Australian bachelor of pharmacy degree program.Methods. Survey instruments exploring the demographics, background, and academic and cultural experiences of students during the program were administered in 2005 to students in all 4 years. Additionally, grades from each semester of the program for students (406 local, 70 international, 155 exchange) who graduated between 2002 and 2006 were analyzed retrospectively.Results. The main differences found in the survey responses among the 3 groups were in students’ motivations for choosing the degree program and school, with international and collaborative exchange students having put more thought into these decisions than local students. The average grades over the duration of the program were similar in all 3 demographic groups. However, local students slightly outperformed international students, particularly at the start of the year, whereas collaborative exchange students’ grades mirrored those of local students during the 2 years prior to leaving their home country of Malaysia but more closely mirrored those of international students in the final 2 years after arriving on campus in Australia.Conclusion. Despite differences in academic backgrounds and culture, international and exchange students can perform well compared to local students in a bachelor of pharmacy program and were actually more satisfied than local students with the overall experience. Studying in a foreign country can negatively influence academic grades to a small extent and this is probably related to adjusting to the new environment.
