动物药材生产及产地加工技术标准体系建设

药用动物资源是中药资源的重要组成部分,是中医药发展的重要战略储备资源,在野生药用动物资源日渐匮乏的今天,大力开展药用动物人工养殖才能确保我国中医药产业的可持续发展。然而《中国药典》2015年版一部收载的106种药用动物中仅有22种(除家畜家禽外)有现行选育、养殖相关标准,共211项,其中除国家标准7项、行业标准(农业、水产)11项外均为地方标准,远远落后于同类型农业标准化程度,无法实现动物药材规范化生产。亟需对常见动物药材蟾酥、水蛭、全蝎等建立包括基础标准、产品标准、工艺过程标准、安全标准、环境保护标准、管理标准、工作标准在内的动物药材生产及产地加工技术标准体系,补充产业空白,从源头把控动物药材、动物类中药饮片及含有动物性成分中药产品质量。     

Factors that influence infertile couples’ selection of reproductive medicine centers---A cross-sectional questionnaire study

ObjectiveThe number of infertile women undergoing in vitro fertilization (IVF) cycles has increased annually. Due to this competitive environment, we designed a questionnaire and aimed to investigate factors affecting the choice of reproductive medicine center among infertile couples.Materials and methodsThis was a retrospective cross-sectional study that analyzed questionnaires provided by the reproductive medicine center of the Kaohsiung Veterans General Hospital from January 2018 to June 2018. In the questionnaire, there are six categories (environment and equipment, service quality, patient safety, medical quality, information acquisition channel and other) and 36 items. The identified factors were scored and then weighted using principal component analysis.ResultsMost of the 100 identified infertile women were aged 31–35 years, were married 1–3 years, and had a university education level. In the weight analysis, “Clean outpatient clinic and medical equipment” had the greatest weight in the dimension of environment and equipment. The item with the greatest weight in the dimension of service quality was “Waiting time for registration, charging, and receiving medicine”. In the dimension of patient safety, “Privacy is highly respected by medical personnel” had the highest weight. The item with the greatest weight in the dimension of medical quality was “Success rate of reproductive medicine center”. The three items with the highest weights in the dimension of information acquisition channel were “Newspapers and magazines”, “TV media”, and “Facebook page and website of our hospital”. In the other dimensions, the two with the greatest weights were “Reputation of the hospital” and “Reputation of physicians”.ConclusionIn the infertile couples' view, optimal reproductive medicine centers should have a high success rate and great reputation on the internet and in mass media. Additionally, a short waiting time and high levels of privacy and confidentiality are also imperative.     

Psychological therapies for chronic widespread pain and fibromyalgia syndrome

Psychological factors such as adverse childhood experiences, traumatic life events, interpersonal conflicts and psychological distress play an important role in the predisposition, onset and severity of chronic widespread pain (CWP) and fibromyalgia syndrome (FMS). Therefore, psychological therapies might have the potential to reduce disability as well as symptom and economic burden in patients with CWP and FMS. Recent interdisciplinary guidelines have suggested different strengths of recommendation for psychological therapies for FMS. The aims of this narrative review are to summarise:• Mechanisms of actions.• Evidence on efficacy, tolerability and safety.• Knowledge gaps and needs for future researchof psychological therapies for CWP and FMS for non-mental health professionals.

Background

Bodybuilding is a demanding sport, which requires high-volume, high-resistance weight training and augmented nutritional intake, toward an increase of overall body muscle mass accompanied by an overall decrease of body fat percentage and mass. Among bodybuilders, the use of various legal and illegal supplements is common. These supplements may be naturally occurring or man-made.

Selecting a Medical School Advisor

Having an advisor offers medical students many advantages, including increased likelihood of matching into their top choices. Interestingly, students who choose emergency medicine (EM) as a specialty are more likely to seek advising. However, finding and optimally utilizing an EM faculty advisor is often challenging for the medical student. In this article, we tackle the different ways to seek advising, including the ‘virtual advisor program’ implemented by the Society for Academic Emergency Medicine, the ‘e-Advisor Program’ instigated by the Clerkship Director in EM Group, the ‘member exclusive mentorship program’ of the Emergency Medicine Residency Association, as well as peer-based mentoring. More so, we discuss the consensus recommendations developed by the Student Advising Task Force to guide both students planning to apply to EM and their advisors to ensure high-caliber advising.     

医药分开综合改革对公立医院药师队伍影响的调查

目的：研究公立医院药师队伍受医药分开综合改革的影响。方法：通过文献回顾法对既往研究成果进行整理和综述，通过专家咨询法设计了针对6个省市药师队伍和管理者的调查问卷和访谈提纲，并以此为工具开展调查。结果：改革对药师队伍的工作内容、工作量、工作心态等维度均存在影响，药师队伍对改革政策也有不同评价，对继续教育和医院、政府的支持政策有较大需求。结论：改革促使医疗机构运营策略与药学服务转型，不仅需要药师队伍内部提升，更需要外部设计。
