An unusual dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans: a case report

Dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans (DFSP) previously called Morbus Darier is an intermediate grade sarcoma with a fairly high rate of recurrence, it occurs most commonly on the trunk and extremities but may also occur in the head and neck region. Treatment of choice is wide excision. A 69-year-old female patient with a 57-year history of dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans is presented. The lesion appeared on the right forehead and both eyelids at the age of 12 years. The patient required 64 surgeries mostly for the head and neck lesions.     

Surgical management for mentosternal contractures by flap procedures

Mentosternal contractures still represent a surgical challenge due to their prominent position. They require early operative treatment for both function and aesthetic reasons. Careful clinical examination of scar position and traction forces, both at rest and when functioning, in addition to proper evaluation of the surrounding soft tissue are mandatory for precise preoperative planning of the required reconstruction. In general, the technically most feasible operation is favored if the functional and aesthetic results are good and postoperative risk for recurrence is low. Between 1987 and 1994, 21 patients with cervical, mentosternal, and mentothoracic contractures were operated upon. Eight patients were reconstructed with local flaps and 13 with microvascular free flaps.

９６名镍作业工人测定结果：非特异酯酶阳性细胞百分率（ＡＮＡＥ＋％）为７６．８％±８．０％，Ｔ细胞亚群ＣＤ２、ＣＤ４、ＣＤ８阳性细胞百分率（ＣＤ＋２％、ＣＤ＋４％、ＣＤ＋８％）及ＣＤ＋４／ＣＤ＋８比值分别为６５．６％±１０．５％、５６．３％±１２．１％、３４．３％±８．２％和１．７６±０．６；酵母多糖刺激的外周血多形核白细胞化学发光（ＰＭＮ－ＣＬ）本底和峰值分别为４８±２３和３０７３±６８４ＣＰＳ／１０６ＰＭＮ；血清硒和丙二醛含量分别为１．２２±０．２３和４．７６±０．８８μｍｏｌ／Ｌ。与非镍作业的地区对照组比较，Ｔ细胞ＣＤ＋８％增高，ＣＤ＋４／ＣＤ＋８比值下降，化学发光的本底值降低，峰值增加，血清Ｓｅ含量下降，丙二醛含量升高。分析镍作业工人工龄与后三项指标变化的关系，工龄大于２０年与小于１０年有统计学上明显差别。这些观察指标为镍作业人员医学观察增加新的监护指标提供依据。     

儿童最大吸氧量与体格发育关系的研究

本文报告了４３６名１０－１９岁男女儿童少年最大吸氧量与休格发育的关系。相关分析可见，ＶＯ２ｍａｘ，ＶＯ２ｍａｘ／身高及ＶＯ２ｍａｘ／最大心率与身高，体重及瘦体重等体格发育变量有高度正相关；ＶＯ２ｍａｘ／体重与各体格变量，男童呈较低的正相关，妇童为较低的负相关；ＶＯ２ｍａｘ／ＬＢＭ与各体格变量，男女童均无相关。按身高，体重及ＬＢＭ分组，将男女儿童分别为发育较好（第１）组及较差（第２）组，比较两组ＶＯ     

Finishing techniques for amalgam restorations: Clinical assessment at three years

Use of the optimum finishing technique for an amalgam restoration may enhance the marginal integrity of the restoration and discourage its unnecessary early replacement. Two hundred and twenty-eight high copper amalgam restorations in 56 patients were evaluated, using clinical assessment criteria, up to three years after placement. Each patient had received at least one carved-only amalgam, at least one immediately finished restoration, and at least one amalgam that was polished at a subsequent appointment. Regardless of the finishing technique, the restorations exhibited similar marginal integrity up to three years after placement. Polished restorations were found to have substantially superior surface texture and less likelihood of surface discoloration. No evidence was found to support the use of immediate finishing techniques. The clinical significance of these findings, with respect to the need to polish amalgam restorations, is discussed.     

垂体后叶素和硝酸甘油联合治疗食管静脉曲张破裂大出血

３０例肝硬化食管静脉曲张破裂大出血患者，用垂体后叶素０．２～０．４Ｕ／ｍｉｎ连续静脉滴注和硝酸甘油含服联合治疗。结果表明，近期止血有效申达８０％，死亡率１０％；无一例出现严重心绞痛和心电图异常。

目的 研究项目地区农民因病致贫严重程度及预防措施。方法 利用扩展线性支出系统界定贫困标准，观察因病致贫率并研究因病致贫人群特点。结果 农民因病致贫率3．44％，因病致贫人群收入低，健康状况差，馒性病患病率高。2周就诊和年住院率高，年家庭医疗费用支出远高于对照人群。结论 通过住院医疗保险和慢性病防治措施缓解农民因病致贫。     

Study on lymphocyte activation and proliferation induced by anti-CD3 McAb

Summary T cell activation and proliferation via CD₃-TCR complex were investigated by lymphocyte DNA synthesis in vitro. Several interfering factors were also discussed. The result indicated that lymphocyte activation and proliferation are calciumdependent. A rise of cytoplasmic free Ca²⁺ quickly following activation with CD₃ McAb is mainly due to intracellular mobilization of Ca²⁺, while lymphocyte proliferation needs both intracellular mobilization of Ca²⁺ as well as influx of extracellular Ca²⁺. It was confirmed that CTX sensitive G protein plays a role in regulating T cell proliferation by pretreatment with CTX suppressing lymphocyte³H-TdR incorporation obviously.
