目的 为了解中日儿童及成人的步行和体成分及其相互关系.方法 以中国上海市和日本琦玉县的小学生和成人为对象,采用西铁城 TW02-001电子式步数计测定步行量,FUTREX-5000A体成分测定仪测量体脂百分比.结果 1.中国男女小学生的平均每日步行量分别为12426步和10387步,低于日本小学生(男15 340步,女11 617步),体脂百分比中国男女生分别为21.2%和15.8%,高于日本(男18.9%,女13.1%).中国男女成人的平均每日步行量分别为9826步和8748步,高于日本成人(男:8411步,女7599步);体脂百分比分别为17.5%(男)和25.8%(女),而日本男性为19.8%,女性为26.0%.2.不同活动水平的小学生和成人,其血压和体成分均有差异,步行量高者的血压和体脂百分比都较低.本研究还计算出以肱三头肌皮脂厚度以(X)推测儿童体脂百分比(Y)的回归方程为:Y=10.6646+0.5856X.结论 作为日常生活的步行可促进肥胖发生率的降低.  相似文献

Safe placement of nasogastric tubes requires reliable positioning of the tip of the tube within the stomach. Radiology and aspiration are currently used to confirm tube position, but suffer from significant problems of cost and efficacy, respectively. We have developed a novel method to locate the position of a catheter tip within the body, using the detection of a low energy electromagnetic field generated in a coil located in the catheter with an external hand-held unit (Cathlocator). In vitro, the unit detected the distance of the coil from the detector with an accuracy of 0.1 cm over a range of 4–12 cm. In vivo studies were performed in 11 healthy volunteers using a purpose-built manometric assembly that incorporated the signal generating coil in its tip. In all subjects the Cathlocator showed the position of the signal generating coil to be cranial to the xiphisternum when manometric and transmucosal potential difference criteria showed it to be located above the lower oesophageal sphincter. When the coil was within the stomach, the Cathlocator identified its position within the epigastric, umbilical and left hypochondrial regions of the abdomen. The distance of the coil from the surface was significantly greater when in the duodenum mean (±s.e.m. 7.6±0.3 cm; P<0.001) and oesophagus (8.6±0.2 cm; P<0.002) than the stomach (5.0±0.4 cm). In one subject studied twice there was a close correlation between the location and depth measured by the device on each occasion. The Cathlocator is a novel non-radiological device that has the potential to be useful in the placement of gastrointestinal catheters.  相似文献

Background: Hypoxic pulmonary vasoconstriction has an important role in human one-lung ventilation (OLV) in the lateral decubitus position under general anesthesia. During OLV, inhalational anesthesia may inhibit hypoxic pulmonary vasoconstriction and the decrease in arterial oxygenation. We studied the effect of isoflurane administration on arterial oxygen tension in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease patients.
Methods: Ten patients who had thoracoscopic laser ablation of bullous emphysema were studied. Patients received 2% isoflurane in oxygen from induction until the first 20 min of OLV in the lateral decubitus position, then were switched to 1% isoflurane lasting 20 min and next were switched to 0.5% isoflurane lasting 20 min. After each 20-min inhalation, pulmonary and hemodynamic parameters were measured. The given concentrations for isoflurane were merely vapor meter concentrations.
Results: PaO2/FIO2, Qs/Qt respiratory rate peak inspiratory pressure and PaCO2 showed no significant changes at each point of isoflurane. Expiratory tidal volume significantly decreased (P<0.05) with 0.5% isoflurane compared to that with 2% isoflurane. Cardiac output, mean arterial pressure, mean pulmonary arterial pressure, systemic vascular resistance and pulmonary vascular resistance showed no significant changes at each point of isoflurane.
Conclusions: In patients with pulmonary emphysema, arterial oxygenation is not affected by low isoflurane concentration during OLV in the lateral decubitus position.  相似文献

Sex differences in home range size and spatial ability are predictive of sex differences in the relative size of the hippocampus in rodents. Such differences in behavior and hippocampal volume are presumed to be, in part, the result of differences in perinatal exposure to hormones. We predicted from differences in the size of home ranges of male and female Mongolian gerbils (Meriones unguiculatus) in the wild that the hippocampus of male gerbils would be relatively larger than that of females. We examined the effect of prenatal hormonal influences on hippocampal size by comparing hippocampal volume of males and females from 2F and 2M intrauterine positions to that of randomly selected males and females. We found that, as predicted, randomly selected males had a significantly larger hippocampus, relative to telencephalon, than did randomly selected females. However, males and females from 2F and 2M intrauterine positions did not differ in relative hippocampal size. Possible explanations for the absence of a sex difference in hippocampal size in male and female gerbils from 2F and 2M intrauterine positions are discussed.  相似文献

近年来,欧洲临床营养与代谢学会(ESPEN)和欧洲肥胖研究学会(EASO)的专家组成员对肌肉减少性肥胖(SO)的相关研究进行了系统地评价。2022年2月,ESPEN和EASO共同发布了《肌肉减少性肥胖的定义和诊断标准共识》,该共识对SO的定义和诊断进行了详细的阐述,旨在就SO的定义和诊断达成共识,为研究人员和临床工作者提供参考依据,以推进SO预防和治疗的发展。本文主要对《肌肉减少性肥胖的定义和诊断标准共识》中SO的定义,诊断流程包括筛查、诊断和分期标准,拟采用的方法和相关的参数等主要内容进行梳理和解读,旨在为国内医务工作者提供更多参考。  相似文献

Summary Rats anaesthetised with Inactin, body temp. maintained at 37°C, were infused with mannitol-saline until both urine flow rate and conductivity reached a balanced state. In separate experiments under analogous conditions cardiac output was measured by dye dilution and organ flow rates by86Rb distribution. Doses of oxytocin of 3 ng or less, injected at or just below the carotid bifurcation, caused a highly significant natriuresis with increased tubular rejection, but no measureable haemodynamic changes. The same oxytocin dose given into the internal or external carotid artery above the bifurcation caused neither haemodynamic changes nor natriuresis. Injection of vasopressin, angiotensin and -MSH at the sensitive site did not result in natriuresis in the same dosage range. Section of the sinus nerve significantly decreased the natriuretic response to oxytocin. It is suggested that the carotid body contains a specific oxytocin receptor capable of eliciting natriuresis in the rat.  相似文献

Mapping of bioelectric potentials over a given surface (e.g., the torso surface, the scalp) often requires interpolation of potentials into regions of missing data. Existing interpolation methods introduce significant errors when interpolating into large regions of high potential gradients, due mostly to their incompatibility with the properties of the three-dimensional (3D) potential field. In this paper, an interpolation method, inverse-forward (IF) interpolation, was developed to be consistent with Laplace's equation that governs the 3D field in the volume conductor bounded by the mapped surface. This method is evaluated in an experimental heart–torso preparation in the context of electrocardiographic body surface potential mapping. Results demonstrate that IF interpolation is able to recreate major potential features such as a potential minimum and high potential gradients within a large region of missing data. Other commonly used interpolation methods failed to reconstruct major potential features or preserve high potential gradients. An example of IF interpolation with patient data is provided to illustrate its applicability in the actual clinical setting. Application of IF interpolation in the context of noninvasive reconstruction of epicardial potentials (the inverse problem) is also examined. © 1998 Biomedical Engineering Society. 目的:研究采用电子射野系统评价头颈部肿瘤患者摆位误差时的观察者间变异和观察者自身变异。方法:两队研究小组,分别由四名医师和四名技师组成,两组分别对6名头颈部肿瘤的患者,采用电子射野影像仪(electronic portal imaging device,EPID)拍摄验证片(electronic portal images,EPIs),在EPIs上勾画骨性标志,以放疗计划生成的数字重建图像(digitally reconstructed radiographs,DRRs)做为参考图像,定量分析不同观察研究人员之间和研究人员自身采用EPID确定头颈部肿瘤患者的射野摆位误差(field placement errors,FPEs)的差异性。结果:在前/后位射野图像上.不同医师之间、医师自身及技师自身对摆位误差的判断无明显差异,但在技师之间出现了明显的自身差异性.医师组和技师组在前/后射野图像上的均方根(root-mean—square,RMS)分别为2.52±0.46和3.43±0.43,两者具有明显差异;在侧位野图像上,医师自身对摆位误差的判断有较好的稳定性,但部分不同医师之间在腹背、头足方向上部分患者中出现差异,而不同的技师之间存在明显差异性,医师组和技师组在侧位射野图像上的RMS分别为2.72±0.16和2.62±0.22.两者无明显差异。结论:医师和技师组在采用电子射野系统对头颈部摆位误差进行判断时存在人员之间的误差,应对所有人员进行统一训练才能减少射野摆位误差,从而提高IMRT治疗效果。  相似文献

Skeletal muscle catabolism, low plasma glutamine, and high venous glutamate levels are common among patients with cancer or human immunodeficiency virus infection. In addition, a high glycolytic activity is commonly found in muscle tissue of cachectic cancer patients, suggesting insufficient mitochondrial energy metabolism. We therefore investigated (a) whether an anaerobic physical exercise program causes similar changes in plasma amino acid levels, and (b) whether low plasma glutamine or high glutamate levels are risk factors for loss of body cell mass (BCM) in healthy human subjects, i.e., in the absence of a tumor or virus infection. Longitudinal measurements from healthy subjects over longer periods suggest that the age-related loss of BCM occur mainly during episodes with high venous glutamate levels, indicative of decreased muscular transport activity for glutamate. A significant increase in venous glutamate levels from 25 to about 40 M was seen after a program of anaerobic physical exercise. This was associated with changes in T lymphocyte numbers. Under these conditions persons with low baseline levels of plasma glutamine, arginine, and cystine levels also showed a loss of BCM. This loss of BCM was correlated not only with the amino acid levels at baseline examination, but also with an increase in plasma glutamine, arginine, and cystine levels during the observation period, suggesting that a loss of BCM in healthy individuals terminates itself by adjusting these amino acids to higher levels that stabilize BCM. To test a possible regulatory role of cysteine in this context we determined the effect of N-acetyl-cysteine on BCM in a group of subjects with relatively low glutamine levels. The placebo group of this study showed a loss of BCM and an increase in body fat, suggesting that body protein had been converted into other forms of chemical energy. The decrease in mean BCM/body fat ratios was prevented by N-acetyl-cysteine, indicating that cysteine indeed plays a regulatory role in the physiological control of BCM.Abbreviations BCM Body cell mass - HIV Human immunodeficiency virus type 1 - NAC N-Acetyl-cysteine  相似文献
