Purpose: To test the effectiveness of a school-based, nurse-facilitated support group in increasing perceptions of scholastic competence, social acceptance, behavioral conduct, perceived athletic competence, perceived physical appearance, and perceived global self-worth in preadolescents diagnosed with attention deficit disorder (ADD) or attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).
Design: A quasi-experimental design with 65 preadolescents diagnosed with ADD or ADHD in an upper-middle class community in the United States.
Methods: Participants randomly assigned to either the control or experimental group completed Harter's Self-Perception Profile for Children instrument at the beginning of the study and 4 weeks later. Students in the experimental condition participated in a school-nurse facilitated support group which met twice weekly for 4 weeks.
Findings: Participants in the support group had increased scores on each of the six subscales, with significant increases on four of the subscales, including perceived social acceptance, perceived athletic competence, perceived physical appearance, and perceived global self-worth.
Conclusion: Participation in a school-based, nurse-led support group was positively associated with perception of self-worth in preadolescents diagnosed with ADD or ADHD. 相似文献

By substituting the saturated vapour phase tension of the pure normal hydrocarbons described by the Clausius-Clapeyron law into the accepted expression of the specific retention volume (Vg,T), a theoretically coherent and relatively simple mathematical evidence of the elution behaviour of the homologous members has been deduced. It gives exponential retention time dependence on carbon number for isothermal, and nearly equidistant (i.e., approximately linear retention-time dependence on carbon number) elution for linear temperature programmed gas chromatographic runs. 目的 探讨同时取大鼠双侧肾脏分别移植的可行性,其目的是节省实验费用、缩短手术时间。方法 以近交系Brown-Norway大鼠为供者,同时取其双肾作为供肾,原位灌洗;近交系Lewis大鼠为受者,切除其左肾,移植供肾1只。以冠状动脉造影支架为支撑行供肾静脉与受者肾静脉端端吻合,供肾动脉与受者的腹主动脉行端侧吻合,供肾输尿管膀胱瓣与受者的膀胱吻合。受者术中预置右侧肾脏血管体外结扎线,术后3d结扎。结果 每只供鼠手术耗时约40min,热缺血时间约10S,冷缺血时间约20min。40次实验均获成功,移植肾功能正常,在不用免疫抑制剂的情况下,受者存活时间均超过7d。结论 同时取双侧肾脏分别移植给2个受者是可行的,可降低实验成本;要获得相同数量的供肾,同时取双肾的耗时较仅取单侧肾脏大大缩短。 相似文献

This study examined the ability of PCR to amplify Leishmania DNA, stored on Giemsa-stained slides, from American cutaneous leishmaniasis (ACL) patients. In total, 475 slides stored for up to 36 years were obtained from an outpatient clinic in a Brazilian ACL-endemic region, and Leishmania DNA was amplified from 395 (83.2%) of the DNA samples using primers specific for the minicircle kinetoplast DNA. Restriction fragment length polymorphism analysis of these amplicons demonstrated that Leishmania (Viannia) braziliensis was the only species present in these samples. The results demonstrated that archived Giemsa-stained slides can provide a Leishmania DNA source for performing clinical and epidemiological studies of leishmaniasis. 相似文献

This report describes a new PCR-based assay for the detection of Pseudomonas aeruginosa genotype D in occupational saturation diving systems in the North Sea. This genotype has persisted in these systems for 11 years (1993-2003) and represents 18% of isolates from infections analysed during this period. The new PCR assay was based on sequences obtained after randomly amplified polymorphic DNA (RAPD)-PCR analysis of a group of isolates related to diving that had been identified previously by pulsed-field gel electrophoresis (PFGE). The primer set for the D genotype targets a gene that codes for a hypothetical class 4 protein in the P. aeruginosa PAO1 genome. A primer set able to detect P. aeruginosa at the species level was also designed, based on the 23S-5S rDNA spacer region. The two assays produced 382-bp and 192-bp amplicons, respectively. The PCR assay was evaluated by analysing 100 P. aeruginosa isolates related to diving, representing 28 PFGE genotypes, and 38 clinical and community P. aeruginosa isolates and strains from other species. The assay identified all of the genotype D isolates tested. Two additional diving-relevant genotypes (TP2 and TP27) were also identified, as well as three isolates of non-diving origin. It was concluded that the new PCR assay is a useful tool for early detection and prevention of infections with the D genotype. 相似文献

目的 探讨汉语失写症的神经心理语言学机制以及该研究对于汉语失写症病理行为的康复学意义。方法 采用汉语失语检查法和汉语失写检查法测试口语和书写能力,详细记录患者的书写、失写行为特征,区分言语障碍类型;运用计算机图像处理技术对病灶CT/MRI图像进行标准化、二维叠加、三维重建等处理,并与非失写对照组相减,显示不同失写类型病变的集中趋势。结果 左侧半球损害48例,其中失语30例,失写32例,后者中纯失写1例,失读并失写1例;右侧半球损害15例,其中失语失写3例。具体的资料分析表明:不同的失写类型有不同的病理行为特点。计算机图像处理结果显示:失语性失写病灶较集中的区域为左额顶叶深部白质。惰性失写主要集中在左外侧裂的前方、从额中下回向后部延伸。镜像书写则分散于左丘脑、基底节附近。结论 汉语失写症的病理行为特点与病损定位有密切的关系;双通道理论有可能符合汉语语言学机制;汉语失写症的神经心理学研究对汉语失写康复模式的制定有重要意义。 相似文献

借鉴国外先进护理模式,研制适合我国医疗制度改革需要的护理健康教育工作模式,推行高质量、高效率工作方法,建立标准化护理健康教育工作程序、管理及评价体系、工作职责条文、记录表格等,并选择5家省、市级医院作为主要试点对象,对全国10个省、市、地区医院的3000名护理人员进行随机抽样调查。结果 93%省级医院和84%市级医院护士对研制的护理健康教育模式满意,80%地区级医院护士认为模式中的主要项目可以应用。结论:研制的护理健康教育模式可以在不同等级医院和社会应用推广。 相似文献

目的 观察表皮生长因子受体抑制剂AG1478和内分泌治疗联合应用对乳腺癌荷瘤裸鼠移植瘤生长的影响.方法 应用MCF-7乳腺癌细胞建立裸鼠动物模型,当肿瘤体积在100~200 mm3时,按肿瘤体积大小将裸鼠随机分成溶剂对照组、AG1478组、三苯氧胺(TAM)组、AG1478+TAM组,分别给予空白溶剂、AG1478腹腔注射、TAM灌胃、AG1478腹腔注射和TAM灌胃.同时给药6周,动态观察移植瘤生长,用药结束后2d处死裸鼠,取肿瘤称重、计算肿瘤体积(V=长径×短径2×π/6)、抑瘤率([(V对照组-V实验组)/V对照组]×100%).结果 各组裸鼠体重和肿瘤体积在治疗前具有均衡性.用药期间,溶剂对照组肿瘤生长最快,AGl478组次之,TAM组肿瘤生长较缓慢,而AGl478+TAM组肿瘤有缩小趋势.用药结束后,各组的抑瘤率分别为AG1478组30.4%,TAM组62%,AG1478+TAM组84.8%,与对照组比较差异有统计学意义(P<0.05).结论 AG1478对乳腺癌裸鼠移植瘤具有抑制作用,也可以加强三苯氧胺的抑瘤效果,两者有明显协同作用. 相似文献

目的 验证所构建裸鼠瘢痕疙瘩和增生性瘢痕模型在病理性瘢痕研究中的可行性。方法 将0.8cm×0.8cm×0.5cm的人瘢痕疙瘩和增生性瘢痕组织块移植到裸鼠皮下,大体观察裸鼠及植入物情况。移植后第16天取出移植物与原标本进行下列指标的比较:体积、瘢痕的镜下特征、酸性黏多糖含量及Ⅰ、Ⅱ型胶原含量。结果 移植后裸鼠全部存活且创面愈合良好。瘢痕疙瘩、增生性瘢痕组织块的酸性黏多糖含量移植前分别为3448±1452、1940±509,移植后分别为3237±1871、1809±552,移植前后比较,差异无统计学意义(P〉0.05)。植入物保持着原有的胶原特性及含量,未检测到细胞变性坏死。结论 增生性瘢痕和瘢痕疙瘩以适当体积移植到裸鼠皮下,其生物学特性可在一定时间内保持稳定,该动物模型适用于病理性瘢痕的临床研究。 相似文献
