Abstract

Objectives: Sarcopenia is characterized by loss of muscle strength and mass, leading to falls and adverse health outcomes. Our aim was to determine the prevalence of sarcopenia in patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and to identify factors associated with sarcopenia in these patients.

Methods: A cross-sectional study of 388 consecutive women with RA was conducted, assessing muscle mass and strength, and walking speed. Falls and bone fractures sustained over the prior year were evaluated. The association between sarcopenia and RA characteristics, falls, and bone fractures was evaluated using logistic regression analyses.

Results: The prevalence of sarcopenia was 37.1% (14.7%, severe sarcopenia; 22.4%, sarcopenia), with 49.0% classified as having low muscle mass. The incidence of falls, fractures, and lower bone mineral density was higher in patients with than without sarcopenia. Age, RA duration, Steinbrocker’s stage, the high Mini-Nutritional Assessment-Short Form score and the use of biological disease-modifying anti-rheumatic drugs (bDMARDs) were independent factors associated with sarcopenia.

Conclusion: We confirmed that sarcopenia develops in a significant proportion of patients with RA. Age, longer disease duration, joint destruction and malnutrition were positively associated with sarcopenia, with the use of bDMARDs being negatively associated.  相似文献

Abstract

Objectives: We aimed to determine the prevalence of locomotive syndrome (LS) using the 25-question geriatric locomotive function scale (GLFS-25) and identify factors associated with LS in elderly and younger patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA).

Methods: Overall, 390 patients with RA who underwent GLFS-25 measurement, bone mineral density determination, and bioelectrical impedance analysis were enrolled. Factors associated with LS were analyzed by comparing patients with and without LS among both elderly and younger patients with RA.

Results: The prevalence of LS was 41.5%, 47.7% and 32.3% in all patients, elderly patients, and younger patients with RA, respectively. Pain visual analog scale (VAS) and Health Assessment Questionnaire Disability Index (HAQ-DI) were associated with LS in both elderly and younger patients. Moreover, in younger patients with RA, disease activity score in 28 joints (DAS28), erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR), basal metabolic rate, and legs muscle mass were identified as being associated with LS.

Conclusion: This study demonstrated that to prevent LS, we should aim to control pain and maintain a low HAQ-DI in elderly and younger patients with RA, and improve disease activity and maintain a higher basal metabolic rate, and legs muscle mass in younger patients with RA.  相似文献

Abstract

Objective. To investigate the prevalence and associated factors of severe low back pain (LBP) among patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA).

Methods. This cross-sectional study included 201 patients with RA without prior spinal surgery. Severe LBP was defined as that with a visual analog scale (VAS) score of ≥ 50 mm within the previous 4 weeks. Lumbar lesions, sagittal alignment, and disc degeneration were evaluated by plain standing X-rays and magnetic resonance imaging. Associated factors of severe LBP were evaluated using multiple logistic regression analysis.

Results. Forty-eight patients (23.8%) had LBP with a VAS score of ≥ 50 mm. Multivariate analysis indicated that the associated factors for severe LBP were female, smoking, and moderate and high disease activity on the Disease Activity Score in 28 joints–erythrocyte sedimentation rate (DAS28-ESR). There was no relationship between severe LBP and any radiological findings. Among DAS28-ESR subscores, patients with severe LBP had significantly higher tender joint counts and VAS scores for general health.

Conclusions. The prevalence of severe LBP was relatively high in patients with RA. The factor most closely associated with severe LBP was Disease Activity Score, but not radiological findings. Severe LBP was related to the tender joint count or subjective complaints of RA.  相似文献

BackgroundClinically evident interstitial lung disease (ILD) affects 10%–42% of RA patients with prognostic implications. The aim of this study was to discern which factors are associated with the presence of ILD in RA patients and to develop a score that could help to stratify the risk of having ILD in RA patients.MethodsCase–control study. We included RA patients recruited from ILD and rheumatology clinics. We retrieved the following data: gender, age, presence of extra articular manifestations, disease activity scores, antibodies status, ESR, and medication use. Multivariate logistic regression was performed. A risk indicator score was developed.ResultsOf 118 patients included in this study, 52 (44%) had RA-ILD (cases) and 66 (56%) had RA without ILD (controls). Twenty-six patients were male (22%), the mean age was 56.6 ± 15.6 years. Five variables were significantly associated with the presence of ILD: male gender, smoking, extraarticular manifestations, a CDAI score > 28, and ESR > 80 mm/h. The AUC of the final model curve was 0.86 (95%CI 0.79–0.92). Two potential cut-off points of the risk indicator score were chosen: a value of 2 points showed a sensitivity of 90.38% and a specificity of 63.64%, while a value of 4 points showed a sensitivity of 51.9% and a specificity of 90.9%.ConclusionThis study identified risk factors that could help identify which RA patients are at risk of having ILD through the development of a risk indicator score. This score needs to be validated in an independent cohort.  相似文献

Abstract

Objectives: To identify the determinant of patients’ perspectives of quality of life (QOL) and working status out of analysis-derived components underlying a set of assessment measures of the status of patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA).

Methods: From the NinJa database in Japan (2012–2014), 1455 RA patients with DAS28?>?3.2 were recruited. Components explaining RA status were derived from principal component analysis of 15 assessment measures. Multivariate regression was used to examine the relative contribution of each identified component to the EuroQOL-5 Dimension Questionnaire score and working status.

Results: Among the identified components (patient symptoms, physical disability, evaluated symptoms, patient distress, inflammatory marker, and serological marker), patient distress showed highest contribution to EuroQOL for both male (44.6%) and female patients (39.3%). Physical disability was associated with significantly less participation in paid work in male (odds ratio [OR]; 0.63) and both household and paid work in female (OR; 0.82 and 0.54, respectively), though patient distress showed the strongest association with less participation in both household and paid work in female (OR; 0.64 and 0.45, respectively).

Conclusion: The approach to latent patient distress using psychological screening tools, concurrently with the treatment to control the activity of arthritis, can be help to improve health-related QOL (HRQOL) including work participation.  相似文献

Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) has many pulmonary manifestations, including bronchial abnormalities that can develop into Mycobacterium avium-complex (MAC) pulmonary disease (PD). MAC-PD can be lethal in patients receiving tumor necrosis factor-alpha blockers despite administration of antibiotics. Diagnosis of MAC-PD is often difficult, because MAC is an environmental organism. In this study, we investigated the usefulness of serodiagnosis of MAC-PD in RA patients by using an enzyme immunoassay (EIA) kit that detects anti-glycopeptidolipid (GPL) core antigen IgA antibodies. Antibody levels were measured in 63 patients with RA: 14 with MAC-PD plus 3 cultured nontuberculous mycobacteria (NTM) other than MAC, 16 with pulmonary abnormalities characterizing NTM but undetected in sputum culture, and 30 control subjects. RA patients with MAC-PD showed significantly higher antibody levels than controls (p = 0.02). The cutoff point was set at 0.7 IU/l, making the sensitivity and specificity of the antibody in MAC-PD and control patients 43% and 100%, respectively. The EIA kit is useful for diagnosis of MAC-PD in RA patients because of its high specificity. This test is an easier and less invasive form of examination and could therefore replace bronchoscopy as the main diagnostic procedure for RA patients with MAC-PD.  相似文献

Objectives. This retrospective observational study aimed to examine the efficacy of iguratimod with and without concomitant methotrexate (MTX) and to estimate the adequate observational period for predicting low disease activity (LDA) achievement at 24 weeks in patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA).

Methods. All patients treated with iguratimod were registered in a Japanese multicenter registry. Multivariate analyses were performed to identify predictive factors for LDA achievement at 24 weeks. Receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve analyses were performed to estimate the association of 28-joint disease activity score based on erythrocyte sedimentation rate (DAS28-ESR) at each time point with achievement of LDA at 24 weeks and determine a cut-off for DAS28-ESR.

Results. A total of 123 patients were treated with iguratimod with (n = 65) or without (n = 58) MTX. Iguratimod therapy resulted in significant clinical improvement in both groups. Multivariate analysis revealed that DAS28-ESR at each time point was an independent significant predictor of LDA achievement at 24 weeks. Cut-off values of DAS28-ESR at 12 weeks based on ROC curves were 3.2 and 3.6 in patients with and without MTX, respectively.

Conclusions. Iguratimod was effective in RA patients in clinical practice. Our results suggest that 12 weeks may be a sufficient period to judge the medium-term efficacy of iguratimod in patients treated with and without MTX.  相似文献

Abstract

Objectives: To assess the middle-term outcome of iguratimod (IGU) in rheumatoid arthritis (RA) patients.

Methods: Sixty-nine RA patients (14 males and 55 females, mean age of 64.0 years) receiving IGU-containing therapies were enrolled. We divided these patients into three groups based on the treatment at the baseline: an IGU group, a methotrexate (MTX) plus IGU group, and a biologics plus IGU group. The baseline characteristics and clinical course were evaluated over three years. Predictive factors associated with the achievement of low disease activity (LDA) were statistically analyzed.

Results: The survival rate of IGU therapy at 3 years was 40.6%. The disease activity was significantly decreased in the IGU group and MTX plus IGU group compared with the baseline. Furthermore, 38 patients (55.1%) were in remission or had LDA at 3 years. The patient gender, use of prednisolone (PSL) and DAS28-CRP at baseline were the factors associated with the achievement of remission or LDA at three years.

Conclusion: IGU was effective without MTX or bDMARDs as well as in combination with MTX. A female gender, no use of PSL and a low DAS28-CRP at the initiation of IGU were associated with clinical remission or LDA achievement at three years.  相似文献

Abstract

Objectives We aimed to assess the efficacy of tacrolimus (TAC) as an add-on therapy in patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) who were previously treated with methotrexate (MTX) but not with biologics.

Methods The study group (MTX + TAC group) consisted of 157 patients (selected from among the patients in the Institute of Rheumatology, Rheumatoid Arthritis [IORRA] RA cohort from April 2005 to October 2009) who received add-on therapy with TAC in addition to MTX, but without biologics. A propensity score (PS) for the use of TAC was derived, and 471 PS-matched patients who received MTX alone or MTX with other non-biologic disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs (except for TAC), but not with biologics, were selected and served as the control group. Changes in disease activity in the two groups during three consecutive IORRA phases were analyzed by adjusting for confounding factors.

Results The median 28-joint disease activity score (DAS28) decreased from 4.58 to 3.70 in the MTX + TAC group and from 4.12 to 3.61 in the control group. After adjusting for confounding factors, the decrease in the DAS28 score in the MTX + TAC group was significantly larger (by 0.273 points) than that in the control group (P < 0.05).

Conclusion: This study demonstrated the efficacy of add-on therapy with TAC to MTX in patients with RA in daily practice.  相似文献

Abstract

Objectives To determine the risk of severe infection requiring or complicating hospitalization associated with leflunomide therapy in patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA).

Methods We performed a retrospective study of RA patients who were prescribed leflunomide between 2004 and 2011. Background clinical and laboratory features were compared between patients who suffered severe leflunomide-associated infections and those who did not.

Results Since January 2005, 401 RA patients have started on leflunomide. Among those, 33 (8.2 %) developed severe infections: pneumonia, oral candidiasis, pyelonephritis, pulmonary tuberculosis, cellulitis, disseminated herpes zoster, tonsillitis, and pulmonary cryptococcosis. Logistic regression showed that age at entry, the presence of DM, and daily dosage of corticosteroid were associated with development of severe infections.

Conclusions These results showed that some patients with RA who were taking leflunomide developed severe infections requiring hospitalization, and that older age, DM, and a higher daily dosage of corticosteroid were risk factors associated with leflunomide-associated severe infections.  相似文献

Objectives: High-resolution computed tomography (HRCT) parenchymal patterns have been used to predict prognosis in patients with interstitial lung disease (ILD). In idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, the fibrosis score (i.e. the combined extent of reticulation and honeycombing) has been associated with worse survival. This study aimed to identify HRCT patterns and patient characteristics that can predict poor prognosis in rheumatoid arthritis-related ILD (RA-ILD).

Methods: We retrospectively analysed 65 patients with newly diagnosed RA-ILD from 2007 to 2016 at Kurashiki Central hospital. Using univariate and bivariate Cox regression analysis, associations with mortality, were identified.

Results: During a median follow-up of 56.5 months, 16/65 (24.6%) patients died. Univariate analysis identified six significant poor prognostic factors: lower baseline % predicted forced vital capacity, total interstitial disease score, reticulation score, traction bronchiectasis score, fibrosis score, and definite UIP pattern. Fibrosis score remained to be an independently significant poor prognostic factor of survival on bivariate analysis. Patients with a fibrosis score >20% had higher mortality (HR, 9.019; 95% CI, 2.87–28.35; p?Conclusion: This study showed that fibrosis score is strongly associated with worse survival in RA-ILD, and patients with fibrosis score >20% had a 9.019-fold increased risk of mortality.  相似文献

Abstract

Introduction: An increasing number of newly diagnosed resectable gastric cancer (GC) patients are over 85?years of age. However, studies on surgical treatment in these patients are limited. This study aimed to explore the prognosis of a large sample of the oldest old GC patients receiving surgery.

Methods: A total of 2914 oldest old patients with stage I-III GC were included in the linked Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results (SEER) database from 2006 to 2015. Based on their treatment, we assigned these patients to the surgery and no surgery groups. We used propensity score matching (1:1) to balance the baseline characteristics. The Kaplan–Meier method was used for the survival analysis. Multivariate Cox regression analysis was used to analyse the independent risk factors.

Results: After propensity score matching, the median overall survival (OS) times in the surgery and no surgery groups were 24.0 (95% CI: 20.3–27.7) and 4.0 (95% CI: 3.5–4.5) months, respectively (p?<?.01). Age, sex, stage, histological type, and treatment with surgery and chemotherapy were independent risk factors for OS in the oldest old patients with GC. In total, 19% of the oldest old patients with GC died from causes unrelated to cancer.

Conclusions: The current large-scale study demonstrated that the oldest old patients with stage I-III GC could benefit from elective surgery.  相似文献

Objective: Nontuberculous mycobacterial (NTM) pulmonary disease is occasionally associated with rheumatoid arthritis (RA), influencing the therapeutic strategy of RA. Since chronic lung diseases are frequently associated with RA, the diagnosis of NTM pulmonary disease is quite difficult in RA patients. Recently, a serological diagnostic test detecting serum immunoglobulin A against the glycopeptidolipid (GPL) core antigen was developed. We investigated the serum levels of anti-GPL antibodies in RA patients to determine the usefulness for detecting NTM pulmonary disease.

Methods: Anti-GPL antibodies were detected in the sera from RA patients with or without NTM pulmonary disease.

Results: The positivity of anti-GPL antibodies in RA patients with NTM pulmonary disease was higher than in RA without (p?=?1.76?×?10?14, odds ratio 70.29, 95% confidence interval [CI] 22.28–221.83). Anti-GPL Ab titers were increased in RA with NTM pulmonary disease (mean titer?±?standard deviation [U/ml], RA with NTM pulmonary disease: 4.1?±?7.0, RA without NTM pulmonary disease: 0.4?±?1.6, p?=?1.51?×?10?10). The area under the curve (AUC) value of the receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve for anti-GPL antibodies was 0.917 (95%CI 0.860–0.974, p?=?3.32?×?10?47).

Conclusions: Serum anti-GPL antibodies are useful for detecting NTM pulmonary disease in RA patients.  相似文献

Objectives

Persons with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) have lower cardiorespiratory fitness (CRF) than healthy individuals. We sought to identify variables explaining the association between RA status and reduced CRF.

Methods

RA patients recruited from two Norwegian hospitals and blood donors recruited as controls filled in questionnaires about physical activity, physical symptoms, and psychological factors. Estimated CRF (eCRF) was calculated from non-exercise models. The relationship between RA status and reduced eCRF was explored with structural equation modelling. The latent variables physical symptoms (based on morning stiffness, joint pain, and pain in neck, back, or hips) and negative emotions (based on Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale’s Depression score and Cohen’s perceived stress scale) were included as possible mediators between RA status and eCRF in separate and combined models adjusted for age and sex.

Results

Two-hundred-and-twenty-seven RA patients and 300 controls participated. The patients were older and had lower eCRF than controls (age- and sex-adjusted mean difference: 1.7 mL/kg/min, p=0.002). Both latent variables were significant mediators of the association between RA and reduced eCRF when included in separate models. The latent variables mediated 74% of the total effect of RA on eCRF in the combined model. Standardized coefficients: direct effect of RA -0.024 (p=0.46), indirect effect through physical symptoms -0.034 (p=0.051), and indirect effect through negative emotions -0.034 (p=0.039).

Conclusion

Both physical symptoms and negative emotions mediated the association between RA and reduced eCRF with similar effect sizes. To successfully increase CRF in RA patients, both physical and psychological factors should be addressed.

Key Points

• The RA patients in the present study had 1.7 mL/kg/min lower mean estimated cardiorespiratory fitness (CRF) compared to healthy controls.

• Mediation analysis demonstrated that physical symptoms and negative emotions mediated 74% of the total negative effect of RA on estimated CRF in a combined, adjusted model.

• This suggests that both physical and psychological factors should be addressed when supporting RA patients in improving their CRF.

Abstract

Objective. The aim of this study was to evaluate the associations between potential risk factors and the occurrence of established vertebral fractures in Japanese patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA).

Methods. A total of 10,469 patients with RA were enrolled in a prospective, observational study from 2000 to 2011. Self-reported vertebral fractures were verified using patient's medical records and radiographs. Cox proportional hazards models were used to analyze independent contributions of various risk factors for established vertebral fracture occurrence.

Results. During a mean follow-up of 5.8 years, established vertebral fractures in 170 patients were verified with medical records and radiographs. Multivariate Cox regression analyses estimated that the hazards ratios of sustaining vertebral fractures increased by 1.84 for female gender, 1.72 for every 10 years of increased age, 1.26 for Disease Activity Score in 28 joints (DAS28), 1.44 for Japanese Health Assessment Questionnaire-Disability Index (J-HAQ-DI), 2.21 for history of any previous fractures, and 1.09 for daily prednisolone dose (mg/day).

Conclusion. We confirmed the associations between vertebral fractures and advanced age, J-HAQ-DI, and high daily prednisolone dose; and found significant correlations between vertebral fractures and female gender, DAS28, and history of any previous fracture in Japanese RA patients.  相似文献

Objective: To verify predictive validity of simplified disease activity index (SDAI) remission for subsequent functional and structural outcomes in real-world clinical settings under a treat-to-target strategy (T2T).

Methods: In this multicenter, prospective cohort study, T2T was implemented in rheumatoid arthritis (RA) patients with moderate-to-high disease activity. SDAI or clinical disease activity index (CDAI) was assessed every 12 weeks, and treatment was adjusted to achieve clinical remission or low disease activity (LDA). Multivariate logistic regression models were used to examine the associations of SDAI remission (≤3.3) at week 24 with the health assessment questionnaire-disability index (HAQ-DI)?≤?0.5 or with the delta van der Heijde-modified total Sharp score (ΔvdH-mTSS)?Results: Of 318 patients enrolled, 271 completed the follow-up for 72 weeks and were subjects of the analyses. Factors [odds ratio (95% confidence interval)] significantly associated with the HAQ-DI ≤0.5 were SDAI remission at week 24 [2.99 (1.42–6.28), p?=?0.004], baseline HAQ-DI [0.28 (0.18–0.45), p?=?1.3?×?10?7], and baseline vdH-mTSS [0.986 (0.976–0.996), p?=?0.009]. A factor associated with ΔvdH-mTSS?p?=?0.002].

Conclusion: Predictive validity of SDAI remission for good outcomes was verified in a T2T-implementing cohort in the current clinical settings.  相似文献

Aim: Superb microvascular imaging (SMI), a novel ultrasonography, is based on the sensitivity of Doppler technology. This study evaluated power Doppler (PD) ultrasound signals in patients with rheumatic disease using SMI and conventional PD imaging (cPDI) and compared the correlations of these signals to clinical assessments.

Methods: Thirty-nine patients with rheumatic disease (27 rheumatoid arthritis [RA] and 12 non-RA) were enrolled. We investigated SMI and cPDI signals in 26 joints using an Aplio 300. Individual scores were summed to calculate total SMI and cPDI scores.

Results: Total SMI scores were significantly higher than total cPDI scores in patients with RA, but not in those with the non-RA disease. Total SMI score was associated with serum levels of C-reactive protein (CRP) and matrix metalloproteinase-3; disease activity score 28-CRP and health assessment questionnaire disability index scores, and SMI were more sensitive to detect active synovitis than cPDI in RA patients. Among the joint regions, the wrists and metacarpophalangeal joints were more sensitive to the detection of synovial inflammation using SMI in patients with RA.

Conclusion: SMI was more sensitive in detecting synovial inflammation than cPDI in patients with RA. SMI could be a potentially useful imaging modality for accurately diagnosing and monitoring the disease activity of RA.  相似文献

ObjectiveTo identify factors present in recent onset arthritis that may help to predict rheumatoid arthritis (RA), and to describe a cohort of recent onset RA.Patients and methodA 5 year prospective cohort of patients with early oligo and polyarthritis (< 1 year of evolution) from 34 rheumatology units, was studied. Sociodemographic, clinical features and RA risk factors were recorded. Rheumatoid factor (RF), anti-CCP determinations and radiographs of hands and feet were analyzed too. After three years, a diagnosis of certainty and the variables that determined the evolution to RA, were evaluated.ResultsOne hundred and seventy one patients were included; 161 (94.2%) fulfilled RA diagnostic criteria; most of them (157; 97.5%) in the first visit. Factors associated with RA diagnosis were: positive RF, anti-CCP and DAS-28; 65% of the patients had radiological erosions in the first visit.ConclusionsPositive RF, anti-CCP and the disease activity are predictive factors of RA. Radiological damage exists very early in most of patients, that's why it is more important to treat the disease aggressively instead than achieving an RA diagnosis of certainty.  相似文献

Objectives: The aim of this study was to evaluate the prognostic impact of immunophenotyping in patients with multiple myeloma (MM), as well as other markers of disease, such as serum hyaluronan and cytogenetic aberrancies.

Methods: We have prospectively analyzed the prognostic impact of antigenic markers, assessed by multiparametric flow cytometry (MFC), in a series of newly diagnosed MM patients (n?=?79).

Results and discussion: Our results show that the expression of CD44, CD45, and CD28 and the absence of CD117 were associated with a significantly shorter progression free-survival (PFS). Clinical characteristics were collected; Cytogenetic aberrancies were assessed in 40 patients. Multivariate survival analyses identified that the CD117?, CD28+, CD45+, and the percentage of bone marrow plasma cells by MFC are survival predictor, along with the International Staging System stage. Interestingly, the CD117? patients were associated with chromosomal aberrancies, including del (17p), +1q21, and IgH translocations.

Conclusion: The incorporation of multiparameter flow cytometry immunophenotyping into the routine diagnostic evaluation of MM patients can help to identify patients at a high risk of progression.  相似文献

IntroductionThis study aims to evaluate the accuracy of bedside assessment of inferior vena cava (IVC) and right internal jugular (RIJ) vein in predicting right atrial (RA) pressure in heart failure patients.MethodsWe prospectively studied 124 heart failure patients who were referred to our catheterization laboratory for right heart catheterizations to assess hemodynamics and to guide heart failure management. Just prior to the procedure, a handheld ultrasound examination was performed in each patient. The volume status was assessed by estimating RA pressure using end-expiratory IVC dimension, IVC respiratory collapsibility, and RIJ respiratory collapsibility. Patients were divided into 2 groups based on invasive RA pressure value. Multiple logistic regression models were used to identify factors associated with RA ≥10 mm Hg; a 3-point simple score was then created. The performance of this score was assessed using the receiver operating characteristics curve.ResultsIn this study 124 heart failure patients were included; median age was 59 years (interquartile range 48-65), and 40% were female. RIJ respiratory collapsibility <50%, end-expiratory IVC dimension ≥21 mm, and respiratory collapsibility <50% were significantly associated with elevated RA pressure, and were used to build the score. The area under the receiver operating characteristics curve (AUC) for the 3-point score was 0.84 (0.77-0.92), and it performed better than 2-point score using IVC characteristics alone (AUC 0.84 [0.77-0.92] vs 0.75 [0.67-0.83]; P = .003). Of 124 patients, 90 patients (72.5%) had concordant RA pressure and pulmonary capillary wedge pressure.ConclusionConcomitant ultrasound assessment of RIJ and IVC correlated better with RA pressure than IVC alone. A simple 3-point score can provide a useful and easily accessible tool to estimate volume status, and further guide management of heart failure patients.  相似文献
