Exploration on clinical practice teaching of medical laboratory students

As a comprehensive medical discipline, medical laboratory has been changing rapidly in recent years, which features in its practicality, technicality and application performance. Clinical practice period is crucial for students of laboratory medicine, in which four years theoretical study will be transformed into practice work ability. Therefore, besides students' efforts, teachers' guidance also plays a major part in this process. In addition to the continuing self-improvement, teachers should focus on cultivating students' awareness of responsibility, quality-control, bio-safety and laws, improving students' practical operational ability, comprehensive analyzing ability and innovative capacity for scientific research. Teachers shall face the new problems and the new challenges with the noble sense of responsibility for medical laboratory and the tremendous passion for students' instruction in practice process, based on which to cultivate the back-up personnel with the noble medical ethics and excellent technology for medical laboratory.
