Pay Attention to Digestive System Injury in Autoimmune Diseases

Autoimmune diseases are characterized by multi-system involvement, the correlation with digestive system injury mainly occurs in two aspects. Firstly, some digestive diseases are autoimmune diseases themselves. Secondly, autoimmune diseases such as systemic lupus el3~thematosus, Sjogren＇s syndrome and Behcet＇s disease may have gastrointestinal manifestations. Variable and complicated clinical manifestations combined with clinicians＇ ignorance of these diseases tend to result in misdiagnosis. Detection of specific antibodies and full realization of the relevance between autoimmune diseases and digestive system injury may contribute to early diagnosis, adequate treatment and favorable prognosis.
