| Abstract: | Rectal swabs and stool specimens were compared for the detection of Campylobacter fetus subsp. jejuni in marmosets. Rectal swabs were superior to stool specimens for detection of Campylobacter fetus subsp. jejuni (P = 0.016). Preliminary human data are also presented. |
