Abstract: | Uterine leiomyoma is the most common benign uterine tumour. Two thirds of leiomyomata undergo degeneration, 4% of which are cystic. We present a case with an unusual parametrial ultrasonographic cystic finding, thought to be of ovarian pathology, which was in fact a leiomyoma with cystic degeneration. |
