胃癌组织中CASPASE-3的表达

目的人胃癌组织中caspase-3表达的研究。探讨caspase-3表达-9胃癌预后的关系。方法应用免疫组织化学ABC法检测人胃癌组织中caspase-3的表达情况。结果周围正常胃粘膜上皮caspase-3阳性率为94／99（94．9％），胃癌组织中caspase-3的阳性率为62／99（63．5％），较周围正常胃粘膜上皮明显降低（P〈0．05）。caspase-3的表达与胃癌的预后指标（如组织学类型，TNM分期等）明显相关性。结论人胃癌组织中caspase-3的表达较低。这一结果提示caspase-3低表达导致的细胞凋亡异常降低及增生过度可能是胃癌的发病原因之一。这一结果亦提示caspase-3与胃正常粘膜及肿瘤细胞的凋亡有关。Caspase-3可能是胃癌的预后指标之一。

Expression of caspase-3 in gastric carcinoma

Objective To study the expression of caspase-3 in human gastric adenocarcinoma. To explore the relationship between expression of caspase-3 and the prognosis of this disease, Methods The expression of caspase-3 in 99 specimens of human gastric adenocarcinoma was studied by immunohistochemistry. Results The caspase-3 expression was detected in 62/99 （63.5%） specimens of human gastric carcinoma and in 94/99 （94.9%） of normal tissue （P〈0.01）. There is obvious correlation between the expression of caspase-3 and prognostic index, such as pathologic type and TNM staging, of gastric adenocarcinoma. Conclusions There is low expression of caspase-3 in human gastric adenocarcinoma. These results indicate that gastric adenocarcinoma is associated with an inhibition of apoptosis and the augmentation of proliferative activity of tumor cells compared to non-neoplastic gastric mucosa. These results also suggest that caspase-3 is involved in the development or regulation of apoptotic cell death in cell turnover of normal and neoplastic mucosa of the human stomach. Caspase-3 maybe is an useful prognostic index.
