外伤性颈内动脉海绵窦瘘的栓塞治疗

目的 探讨外伤性颈内动脉海绵窦瘘的栓塞疗法。方法 总结自1998年至今用可脱球囊栓塞治疗68例外伤性颈内动脉海绵窦瘘的方法及经验。结果 获得一次治愈63例，瘘口被闭塞而颈内动脉保持通畅，瘘口外闭塞颈内动脉3例；颅底骨折失败2例。但经第二次栓塞仍得以治愈。结论 栓塞疗法安全、有效，并发症低，获得了满意的疗效，为外伤性颈内动脉海绵窦瘘的首选方法。

Embolization treatment of traumatic carotid calernous fistula

Objective To study the embolization treatment for the patients suffering from traumatic carotid cavernous fistula.Methods The therapy and experiences of treating 68 patients suffering from traumatic carotid cavernous fistula with detachable balloons from 1998 up to now have been summarized.Results 63 of all the patients were cured.Their fistulas were closed and the carotids were kept flowing freely.In 3 patients the carotids were closed on fistulas.In 2 patients the treatment did not succeed because of the fractures in skull bases.But the embolization treatment a second time succeeded.Conclusion Embolization treatment has lower complication ocurrence.It is a very effective and safe method.A good result has been gotten.It is the first therapy for traumatic carotid cavernous fistula.
