| Abstract: | In order to explore the effect of acupuncture on serum IgE level in patients with chronic urticaria, the changes of the immune indices were observed at various stages in the development of the disease. It was found that the serum IgE level in patients with chronic urticaria was higher than that of the normal healthy subjects; and that acupuncture had a benign regulatory effect on IgE, showing a favorable regulation on the immune functions in patients with chronic urticaria. |
