| Abstract: | Elevated heart rate is an independent risk factor for both patients with a normal cardiovascular profile and cardiovascular disease patients.This article examines the influence of increased heart rate on cardiovascular pathophysiology including the relationship between increased heart rate and endothelial function,arterial stiffness,atherosclerosis,revascularization,myocardial injury and atherosclerotic plaques. |
