Study on the effect of topical use of heat-clearing,dampness-removing and collateral-unblocking herbs on rheumatoid arthritis of dampness-heat obstruction type

Objective To analyze the effect of topical use of heat-clearing,dampness-removing and collateral-unblocking herbs on rheumatoid arthritis of dampness-heat obstruction type.Methods A total of 66 cases of rheumatoid arthritis of dampness-heat obstruction type were divided into control group and observation group according to random numerical table,with 33 cases in each group.The control group received conventional therapy,and the observation group received topical use of heat-clearing,dampness-removing and collateralunblocking herbs on the basis of the observation group.The therapeutic effect and clinical symptom integral were compared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate of treatment of the experimental group was 78.79%,which was higher than 54.55%of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the joint swelling,morning stiffness and pain score of the experimental group were lower than those of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Topical use of heat-clearing,dampness-removing and collateral-unblocking herbs can improve the therapeutic effect of rheumatoid arthritis of dampness-heat obstruction type and improve the clinical symptoms of patients.It is worthy of wide application.
