Discussion on effect of Ganmai Dazao Decoction on anxiety,depression and nerve function after cerebral infarction

Objective To analyze the effect of Ganmai Dazao Decoction on anxiety,depression and nerve function after cerebral infarction.Methods A total of 70 patients with cerebral infarction were divided into control group and observation group according to lottery method,with 35 cases in each group.The control group was treated with paroxetine hydrochloride,and the observation group was treated with Ganmai Dazao Decoction based on the control group.The self-rating anxiety scale(SAS),self-rating depression scale(SDS),National Institutes of Health stroke scale(NIHSS),activities of daily living(ADL)scores and satisfaction rate were compared between the two groups.Results After treatment,SAS score(35.1±3.9)points and SDS score(38.0±4.4)points of the observation group were obviously lower than(46.9±4.2)and(48.2±5.0)points of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,NIHSS score(5.6±1.6)points of the observation group was lower than(8.2±2.0)points of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,ADL score of the observation group(87.1±7.6)points was higher than(76.2±7.0)points of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The treatment satisfaction rate of the observation group was 97.1%(34/35),which was obviously higher than 80.0%(28/35)of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(χ^2=4.138,P<0.05).Conclusion Ganmai Dazao Decoction can effectively improve the anxiety and depression of patients with cerebral infarction,and improve the nerve function and quality of life.This regimen is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
