| Abstract: | We report a rare association of familial cerebellar ataxia (without dementia) and cerebrovascular amyloid. Postmortem neuropathological examination of one member of the family showed amyloid angiopathy of the central nervous system with heavy infiltration of capillaries in the hippocampus and cerebellum. |
