Histiocytosis X in an adult mimicking pyoderma gangrenosum*

A case of histiocytosis X is reported in which the presenting feature was recurrent cutaneous ulceration indistiguishable from pyoderma gangrenosum. Such a presentation of histiocytosis X has not previously been described.
