预防医学专业校外导师制的实施与效果探析

摘    要:目的探讨在预防医学专业中实行本科生校外导师制对本科教育教学改革的意义。方法在五年制预防医学专业本科生的最后两年实行校外导师制。聘请当地疾病预防与控制中心(CDC)的专业人员作为预防医学本科生的校外导师,每名本科生拥有特定的、负责任的导师,对学生给予思想引导和生活帮助,指导其学习方法和培养专业素质,同时给学生的职业选择提出一些建议。导师每个月至少与学生交流或指导学生社会实践1次。采用问卷调查和访谈相结合的方法,对这一教学改革的效果进行了调查、分析与评价。结果所有的学生都认为很有必要实施校外导师制,校外导师对他们的学习、生活、心理、专业和职业选择等各方面均有不同程度的帮助。结论实施本科生导师制是保证高校教学质量的重要措施之一。校外导师制能够提高预防医学本科生对于理论知识学习的兴趣,使学生的学习更加积极主动,可促进本科生素质教育和创造性人才培养。

Abstract:Objective To explore the significance of off-campus tutorial system for preventive medicine undergraduates in the reform of education and teaching. Methods The off-campus tutorial system was carried out in the last two years of the five-year college life. The professionals of local Center for Disease Control and Prevention were invited as the instructors of the preventive medicine tutor who had the responsibility to guide students' though undergraduates. Each undergraduate had a specific t and help their lives, teach them study methods and cultivate their professional quality, and make some suggestions for their career choice. The tutor communicated with his/her students individually or collectively, or guided them to participate in the activities of social practice at least one time a month. And the effect of the teaching reformation was investigated, analyzed and evaluated by questionnaire and interview. Results All the students thought that it is necessary to implement the off- campus tutorial system. They off-campus tutors were helpful in their learning, life, psychology, professional improvement and career choice in varying degrees. Conclusion Implementation of the undergraduate off-campus tutorial system is one of the important measures to ensure the quality of teaching at universities. It can improve the preventive medicine undergraduates' interest in learning theoretical knowledge and acquire knowledge more initiatively. It is beneficial to students ' quality-oriented education and the cultivation of innovative talents.
