正畸治疗难度、结果、需要指数的相关研究

正畸治疗难度、结果、需要指数(ICON)是由9个国家的97位正畸学者共同研究制定的指数,并于2001年正式提出,旨在通过对患者及其模型进行评价,评价患者的治疗需要、治疗难度、治疗的改善程度及治疗结果的可接受度等。近年来ICON在欧美国家得到了广泛的采用,然而国内尚无相关研究报道。本文就近年来对ICON的研究进展作一综述,并探讨该指数在国内应用的研究方向。

Research of the index of orthodontic treatment complexity,outcome and need

Index of treatment complexity, outcome and need(ICON) is an occlusal index collaborated and es-tablished by 97 orthodontists from 9 countries of Europe and America, and was formally introduced to the world in 2001. The aim of this index is to evaluate the orthodontic treatment need, complexity, degree of improvement and the acceptability of the outcome by the judgment of patients and models. ICON has been widely employed in the west in the past few years, but no correlated research could be seen in China so far. The purpose of the present paper was to review the relative researches lately made by western scholars.
