| Abstract: | Objective To study the effect of group counseling on stubborn criminals. Methods A total of 16 stubborn criminals from a prison of Chengde city,Hebei Province were divided into two groups,group counseling were conducted. Surveying the structural changes in mental status of offenders subtests COPA-TCMI （Ⅳ ） Scale before and after the group counseling. Results In the criminal state mental structural changes subtests COPA-TCMI （ Ⅳ ） ,the transformation of the attitude scale and transformation effects, bad ideas need to change the formation of moral values, sense of guilt and repentance dimensions changed significantly before and after the test （t= 5. 077 ,P〈0.05）, Conclusion Group counseling is an effective method on affecting management of stubborn criminals. |
