| Abstract: | The effects of lesions in the anterior and posterior pretectum on acquisition of an intensity and a line orientation discrimination were examined. The lesions impaired line orientation, but not intensity discrimination acquisition. Anterior lesions had more effect than posterior, possibly due to more extensive involvement of the medical posterior thalamus in the former group. |
