Drug-induced Hyperuricemia about its causative Drugs and Preventive and Therapeutic Methods

Hyperuricemia is a disorder of caused by abnormal metabolism of purine, it is likely to cause gout, thus causing repeat-paroxysmal acute gout arthritis , gouty tophus sedimentation, chronic arthritis and joint deformity . Hyperuricemia is also associated with renal disease and cardiovascular impairment over the long term , affect the quality of life badly. Drug is one of the important reasons of hyperuricemia, this article reviews the common causative drugs of hyperuricemia to provide basis for clinical safe medication and briefly introduces preventive and therapeutic methods of drug-induced hyperuricemia .
