| Abstract: | Endocarditis is a rare complication of typhoid fever. We report a case in which Salmonella enterica serotype typhi was isolated from a case of endocarditis. The isolate was resistant to ampicillin, chloramphenicol and ciprofloxacin but sensitive to ceftriaxone, amikacin and gentamicin. |
