eIF-4E在宫颈癌组织和细胞中的表达及其临床意义

目的分析真核细胞起始因子-4E(eIF-4E)基因在宫颈癌中的表达及其与宫颈癌临床病理类型、临床手术分期以及病理分级的关系,探讨其临床意义。方法应用免疫组织化学方法(ABC法)测定48例宫颈癌组织、癌旁组织及11例正常宫颈组织中eIF-4E蛋白表达水平,应用细胞免疫化学方法检测Hale细胞中eIF-4E蛋白表达水平,并将检测结果与相关临床因素进行分析。结果48例宫颈癌组织中eIF-4E蛋白的阳性表达率为81.3%,明显高于相应的癌旁组织及正常宫颈组织(P<0.01);eIF-4E蛋白在Hale细胞中呈阳性表达;eIF-4E蛋白表达与宫颈癌的组织类型无关,但与临床分期呈正相关,与病理分级呈负相关。结论eIF-4E的过度表达可能在宫颈癌的发生和恶性进展中发挥一定作用。

THE EXPRESSION OF EIF-4E IN CERVICAL CANCERS AND ITS CLINICAL SIGNIFICANEC

Objective To investigate the expression of eIF-4E protein in cervical cancer and Hale cells and its clinical significance.Methods eIF-4E expressions were tested in 48 sample of cervical cancers and neighbouring cervical tissues,11 cases of normal ovarian tissues and Hale cells with the use of immunohistochemical staining assay.The relationship between the eIF-4E level and clinical pathologic features was analyzed.Results The positive expression rate of eIF-4E protein in cancer tissues was 81.3%.Its expression was higher than those of neighbouring cervical tissues and normal tissues(P<0.01).eIF-4E protein was expressed in Hale cells.Furthermore,eIF-4E overexpression was independent to histopathological type,but it was associated with clinical stage.Conclusion The overexpression of eIF-4E in cervical cancer may play a role in the oncogenesis and malignant progression of cervical cancer.
