少年犯人格的基本特征及其相关因素的研究

少年犯罪已成为当今世界各国的一个严重的社会问题。近年来 ,我国少年犯罪人数急剧上升 ,犯罪性质越来越恶劣 ,犯罪率呈逐年增长趋势[1] 。一般地说 ,少年犯罪不单纯是偶然因素导致犯罪 ,除了有社会环境引诱的原因外 ,也应重视引发少年犯罪的内在的人格因素。我国已有不少有关罪犯心理特征的调查研究[2 - 8] ,但结果不一致 ,研究样本的年龄多限于 16岁以上。而实际上近年来 ,青少年犯罪呈现出明显的低龄化倾向 ,少管所关押着一些 12～ 15岁的少年犯。对于这一部分犯罪孩子的人格特征的研究尚未见到报道。本研究将在这方面提供一些调查资料 ,…

A Study on the Basic Personality Traits of Juvenile Criminals and Related Factors

ObjectiveTo explorethe basic personality traits of juvenile criminals with respect to crime types,areas ofresidence,and structures of family.MethodsThis study involvedadministering the “EPQ-C” a nd a self-designedquestionnaire to 379 male juvenile criminals aged from 13 to 15 years.ResultsAscompared to the normal samples,the juvenile criminals obtained significantly hi gherscores on the dimensions of E and N,but lower scores on the dimension of L.The juvenilecriminals committing different types of crime also differed sig nificantly in their scoreson the dimensions of P,L and N.Further,there were significantly different scores on thedimension of P and L between juvenile cri minals living in urban and ruralareas.Finally,scores on the dimension of N w as found to be significantly different injuvenile criminals with single parents.ConclusionThe basic personalitytraits of the juvenile criminal areextrove rsion,restless,hard to self-control,unsteadyemotion,weak defensive mechanis m,as well as comparatively low mental maturity andcredulity.These personalit y traits are significantly linked with important factors ofcrime types,areas of residence and integrity of family.
