摘    要:Smac/DIABLO (the second mitochondrial activator of caspase/direct IAP binding protein with low pI)是一种新发现的线粒体蛋白,在细胞发生凋亡时,与细胞色素c一起被线粒体释放到胞质中,与IAPs结合,解除IAPs对caspase的抑制,从而诱导细胞凋亡。Smac这种促凋亡作用对消化系统肿瘤的发生、发展以及肿瘤的治疗具有重要意义。

Abstract:Smac/DIABLO(the second mitochondrial activator of caspase/direct IAP binding protein with low pI) is a new found mitochondrial protein that is released to the cytosol with cytochrome c when a cell is triggered to undergo programmed cell death.It promotes apoptosis through its ability to adhere to IAPs,inhibiting their caspase-binding activity.
