摘    要:对不同方法灭菌的饲料喂养小鼠的效果进行了试验比较。预真空压力蒸汽灭菌饲料对小鼠生长、繁殖影响较小。用下排气式压力蒸汽灭菌者有一定影响,但可在饮水中加入复合维生素B以克服。用γ射线辐照灭菌者虽不影响生长,但对繁殖有明显影响。对试验小鼠器官的重量与病理变化亦作了比较。

Abstract:Experiment was carried out to compare the efficacy of feed sterilized by different meth-ods in feeding mice.The results were as follows:The feed sterilized by prevacuum autoclaving(PA)(135℃,5 min)had little influence on growth, development and reproduction of mice;The feed sterilized by downward displacement autoclaving(DA)(121℃,25 min)couldcause slowing down of growth of mice after 5~6 weeks old, even loss of weight,and influencegestation of female mice,but adding vitamin B complex into drinking water(DA+B)couldremove these influences;Feeding with the feed sterilized by 25 kGy7- γ-irradiation(γR)did notinfluence the growth of mice,but could cause decrease in gestation rate of female mice ofKunming strain(KM),inability of gestation of ICR female mice and testis atrophy of malemice. Even addition of 250 mg/kg viatmin E into the feed after radiation sterilization(γR+E)could not remove these influences.In addition, the mice fed with irradiated feed showedsplenomegaly no matter whether viatmin E was supplemented or not.
