大学生人格特征与网络信息查寻行为的关系

目的探讨大学生人格特征对网络信息查寻行为的影响。方法采用卡特尔16PF和自编的"大学生网络信息查寻行为量表",对西安交通大学396名大学生进行问卷调查。结果总体上大学生最倾向于运用快速表层式信息查寻模式,其次为广泛扫描式,最后为深层潜入式。男女大学生在这三种信息查寻模式的运用上不存在显著性差异。人格特征对网络信息查寻行为产生一定影响:稳定性对快速表层式具有显著的负向影响,忧患性对广泛扫描式具有显著的促进作用,有恒性对深层潜入式具有显著的促进作用。结论要根据学生的人格特征提供适合其个性的信息查寻模式。

Personality Characteristics of College Students and Their Internet-based Information Searching Behavior

Objective To explore the relationship between personality characteristics and Internet-based information searching behavior of college students.Methods Totally 396 students of Xi'an Jiaotong University were investigated with 16PF and the self-made Internet-based Information Searching Behavior Inventory for College Students.Results Generally,the information searching pattern that the college students tend to use most frequently is fast surfing,followed by broad scanning,and least frequently used is deep diving.There are no significant differences in the three information searching patterns between male and female students.Personality characteristics have certain effects on Internet-based information searching: Emotional stability has negative predicable effects on fast surfing;apprehension has positive predicable effects on broad scanning;rule consciousness has positive predicable effects on deep diving.Conclusion Individualized information seeking pattern should be provided for students with different personality characteristics.
