| Abstract: | An unusual case of intrapericardial diaphragmatic hernia ispresented. Cardiac tamponade occurred in the operating roomsoon after induction of anaesthesia. Surgical removal of theherniated omentum and stomach allowed haemodynamic improvement.The pathophysiology is discussed and patients with cardiac tamponadereviewed. |
