| Abstract: | The present experimental immunohistochemical study demonstrated that one of the major components of the anterior commissure of the rat is the cholecystokinin-8-like immunoreactivity (CCKI)-containing fiber system. We further showed that these fibers reached the contralateral side and dissociated into CCKI fibers in the ipsi- and contralateral anterior limbs. |
