A time-based stereoscopic depth mechanism in the visual cortex |

| Abstract: | We propose a new depth mechanism, operating in the visual cortex, which uses temporal as well as spatial cues. By varying the timing of input to the two eyes, and the position of stimuli on the two receptive fields, we show that both temporal and spatial disparities influence the binocular responses of single cortical cells. |
