Effects of transurethral plasmakinetic resection of prostate on serum PSA,PGI2 levels,postoperative sexual function and life quality in patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia

Objective To investigate the clinical value of transurethral plasmakinetic resection of prostate(TPKRP)in the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia(BPH).Methods 200 patients with BPH admitted to the First Hospital of Shijiazhuang City,Hebei Province from May 2017 to May 2018 were selected.The experimental group(n=100)was treat with TPKRP,while the control group(n=100)underwent electrogasification.Surgical indicators,visual analogue scale(VAS)scores and complication rates were compared between the two groups.The scores of IPSS,IIEF-5,CIPE-5,GQOLI-74,and serum PSA and PGI2 levels were compared between the two groups before and after surgery.Results The operation related indexes,VAS score and complication rate in the experimental group were significantly better than those in the control group,with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).After surgery,IPSS score of the experimental group was significantly lower than that of the control group,and IIEF-5,CIPE-5,GQOLI-7,PSA and PGI2 levels of the experimental group were significantly better than those of the control group,with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Conclusions TPKRP in the treatment of BPH can effectively alleviate symptoms,improve levels of serum PSA and PGI2,improve postoperative sexual function and life quality.
