THE PERFORMANCE OF MULTIPLE JOINT PROCEDURES AT ONE OPERATION IN A PATIENT WITH HAEMOPHILIA

A haemophiliac patient with crippling degenerative joint disease is described in whomarthrodeses of the left knee and right ankle and total replacement of the left ankle wereperformed in the course of one operation. The reasons for this and for using a total ankle replacement are discussed.
