| Abstract: | Contrast medium-enhanced ultrafast computed tomography has sufficient spatial and temporal resolution to permit imaging of the mitral and aortic valves. The conventional transaxial planar scan projection is not adequate for this purpose. This communication describes the planar configurations and technique required to image the mitral and aortic valves by ultrafast computed tomography. |
