THE NEEDLE ELECTROCHEMICAL MICROSENSOR FOR MEASUREMENT OF THE CALCIUM ION AND THE PARTIAL PRESSURE OF OXYGEN IN ACUPUNCTURE POINTS
Abstract:In order to research the calcium ion's action in acupuncture information conduction and the partial pressure of oxygen of tissue, the calcium ion selective needle electrode and oxygen needle sensor are developed which can be used to monitor calcium ion and partial pressure of oxygen of organism in vivo in dynamic state.The calcium ion information in vivo can be collected using the calcium ion selective needle sensor by taking acupuncture as the intervention factor.So we can observe the relation of its changes and the effect of entrails.And through monitoring the oxygen partial pressure in vivo using the oxygen needle sensor, the similarities and differences of oxygen partial pressure in human acupoints and non-acupoints under physiological state can be observed, the influence of acupuncture on tissue oxygen partial pressure can be viewed as well.The main results show that: firstly, the calcium ion enriches at the acupoint, and this is the foundation of calcium ion's action in signal transduction; secondly, acupuncturing the acupoint can lead to the changes of calcium ion on the meridian line; thirdly, under physiological state, the oxygen partial pressure in the deep tissue of Shangjuxu(ST37) has the possibility of being lower than that in the nonacupoints; lastly, acupuncturing Zusanli(ST36) has the possibility of reducing the oxygen partial pressure in its surrounding tissues.In conclusion, the basic performances of the self-made needletype calcium ion and oxygen sensor are good.They can realize real-time dynamic monitoring of some substances in vivo.
