| Abstract: | Eine 9 Personen umfassende Epidemie durch das Microsporum canis in Mannheim 1976 wird beschrieben. Auffallend sind die klinisch atypischen pityriasiformen Hautveränderungen. Als Infektionsquelle konnten Sandkästen des gemeinsarnen Kinderspielplatzes nachgewiesen werden. Summary
An outbreak of Microsporum canis infection involving 9 persons in Mannheim in 1976 is described. Special interest is focused on the atypical pityriasiform character of the skin lesions. Microsporum canis was isolated from the sand of public playgrounds. |
