多死因统计分析方法

本文讨论了进行多死因统计的需要和可能,介绍多死因分析的两种模式:扩展根本死因模式(Extended Underlying-Cause Model)和衰退模式(Pattern of Failure Model);讨论了美国进行多死因分析的几种方法,其中有死亡过程复杂性分析、死因顺位分析、死亡过程中伴随疾病分析和死因链分析。通过对同一资料用两种方法(单死因和多死因)进行死因顺位统计所出现的差异,说明单死因统计在估计社会卫生问题时可能出现的偏差。

The Methods for Multiple-Cause Mortality Analysis

In this paper we discuss the need and possibility for Multiple-Cause mortality statistics and introduce two kinds of models for Multiple-Cause mortality analysis: Extended Underlying-Cause Model and Pattern of Failure Model. We also discuss the methods for multiple-cause mortality analysis which have been using in U.S.A, such as the analysis of complicacy of death process, the analysis of the rank of dcath causes, the analysis of the diseases in death process and the analysis of the chain of death causes. The results show that there is bias of single-cause mortality in valuing the social health problems.
