| Abstract: | Long superficial femoral artery occlusions can be recanalized successfully by excimer laser-assisted angioplasty with a high technical success rate. To maintain a high patency rate, an intensive clinical follow-up is mandatory. Nevertheless, performing repeat interventions will provide a relevant improvement in quality of life that can be maintained in the majority of patients. |
